Take a trolley or bus journey to Tybee Island and enjoy a self-arranged lunch at the Crab Shack, a favorite spot of the elite who dine barefoot. After that, we will embark on a Dolphin Cruise through the waterways of Tybee Island. Post the Dolphin Cruise, we will pause for a quick photo session at the Tybee Island Lighthouse that boasts a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean before heading back to Savannah. Please note, the tour price doesn’t cover admission to the Lighthouse or the Museum.

Tybee dolphin and lighthouse tour - The Tybee Island dolphin tour was a great experience!
Michelle was a great tour guide and had lots of interesting history to share with us along the way!
Our day started with pick up near our hotel as we traveled to Tybee. After arriving on the island we spent a little time on the beach where we got some great pictures and found a few shells.
From the beach we headed to lunch at The Crab Shack. This would not have been a spot we’d have chosen but we loved it! It has a fun vibe, alligators to watch and parrots that were fun! Oh, and great food!
After lunch we headed to Captain Derek’s for the dolphin tour! We were able to see lots of dolphin!
Our last stop was at the Tybee lighthouse. We had just enough time to tour the attendant residence, gift shop and to climb the stairs to the top of the lighthouse for some amazing pictures!
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

Best trip to Tybee - The driver, Ben - most informative, history buff about Savannah! Made the trip to Tybee most exciting. Other drivers should follow his lead. Learned a lot about Savannah, Tybee and surrounding area. Crab Shack best food on the island.

Fun Day at Tybee with Ben - Everything about this day was so fun! We had a great time with Ben. He provided us some really interesting information and was hilarious. Would definitely recommend!

Great day - Brenda was our trolley tour guide and was great. She gave commentary throughout the drive. We started with the dolphin tour and we saw quite a few dolphins. Patrick and Gator were our guides on that and were informative. Then we went to the Crab Shack for lunch. The service was quick and we had plenty of time there. Then we had over an hour at the beach and lighthouse. Had I known we had that much time, I might’ve brought a towel to sit on the beach. I didn’t know they were going to do this, but they did some hotel drop offs at the end.

Pleasant Sailing - It was a bit chilly when I took the tour. I recommend taking it in warmer weather when dolphin sightings will be more frequent. Captain Derek and his one-man crew made sure that we were safe, and the stories and jokes added to a very pleasant cruise.

Trolley lady was... - Trolley lady was exceptional. Very accommodating. Appreciated pick up & drop off and later time due to cold weather. That was not a dolphin tour. We barely went anywhere on the water. Kept going in circles and gas fumes were bothersome. Lunch? Did not like eating lunch with a waste barrel right under my table. We were shooing flies the whole time.

Dreadful tour! - Our trip should’ve been canceled and our money refunded. It was so cold you could see your breath in the air. When it’s that cold and you’re on water with wind, it really affects your health. It took four hours to warm up after this trip. No one went to the lighthouse or walked the beach after our dolphin cruise because we were all frozen. What a disappointment!

Miserable Experience - It was a cold, rainy day. The company should have given customers a chance to cancel with a refund. The boat was very uncomfortable and only a couple to dolphins were spotted. The boat captain said it wasn't a good time of year to see dolphin. The lunch and bathroom stop was way to too long and the restroom facilities were not nice. It was so cold and miserable that no one in the group went to see the lighthouse or to walk on the beach. Basically, we paid a lot to be tortured.
