Small malecón, platform "in front of the sea" on Sábalo street, is the (access to the beach).
The place is safe, shaded, has a free parking. In the corner left facing the beach there are 2 restaurants/cafe where you can buy a snack, something to hydrate yourself and bathroom.

Expanding knowledge and gaining insight - This hike was a learning experience. We followed a trail through the jungle - took our time to explore. Our guide, Deva, was thorough in her explanations of various trees land creatures. She took time to teach us about some dangers that are easy to avoid with knowledge. She also shared her love of nature. She engaged each person and made us all feel welcome and included. She was patient as we asked all kinds of questions. And she took time with each person in the group with each thing she shared with us to be sure we all had the chance to see close up what she was showing. Her instructions were clear and simple to follow. We loved every minute.

Deva was a great tour... - Deva was a great tour guide. Learned a lot about the flora and fauna. She also has a kind gentle personality which was great to take in all the sights and sounds of the jungle and the views

EcoHike Sayulita - WOW! - This was a fabulous experience. We learned so much! Yes, it is possible to find the path on your own, but we would have missed so much. Also, without knowing the city of Sayulita - it would not have been easy to find the hike. The hike is not strenuous. Our guide, Deva, regularly checked in with us about pace etc. Without Deva we would have missed many wonderful magical things things! Deva was very helpful sending us links to additional hikes and day trips in the area. Next year - we will do the Monkey Mountain hike with them. They are a wonderfully run operation. We highly recommend EcoHike Sayulita Hiking Tours. You will love it!

Outstanding guide - Communication with the operator was excellent. The hike was manageable for a person of average fitness and the guide was prepared to adapt for people of different abilities.
Deva was very knowledgeable and personable as well. Highly recommend this operator and guide.

The Jungle Don’t Rush - Highly recommend - we learned so much and Allejo was fun, engaging and interesting! The hike was not strenuous though there are a few up and downs. It was a relaxing and beautiful hike.

10/10 recommend - A great way to get to know the world beyond the resorts in Mexico. Alejo is a terrific guide, so knowledgeable, fun and kind. I felt so taken care of, and met other lovely travellers during the hike.

Stunning Hiking in Sayulita - Excellent tour by Alejo, knows a lot about flora and fauna and the trail is not very complicated but has spectacular views.

Chill and Beautiful Hike - Deva was such a great guide! She was kind and super knowledgeable. We got to see a lot of cool things and the hike was the perfect ratio of easy/challenging. (More easy than challenging) would definitely recommend.

Not an easy walk as advertised - We had hoped for more. There were two main issues for us. The first is that it is NOT an easy hike. I would say 2/3 of the walk was steep, rough terrain that requires climbing, sliding and people assisting each other. Acknowledging that we are 70, much younger couples were challenged also.
The second issue was that since we walked single file, the very nice young woman leading the walk was up front. We positioned ourselves at the back of the line so as not to slow anyone down. As we arrived at the various stops the talk was near its end and we were not able to benefit from her knowledge.
We high-fived as we ended. Proud of us for all that we accomplished.
