Fun family hike - Our family with three little ones, 3,4 and 6 made this hike. We learned about spiders, ants and the jungle, the kids loved trying to get the lion ant to jump out of its hole and the private beach is gorgeous. This was a fun morning to be together and get some exercise. The kids did great!

Highly recommend! - Highly recommend this experience! Alejo is so kind and shares his expansive knowledge of the jungle throughout the hike. The view of the hidden beaches towards the end of the hike is breathtaking. There were a few challenging parts to the hike but I would not rate it high in terms of difficulty. Be prepared for a 3 hour walk though. Bring water and bug spray. Enjoy!

Making family memories for a lifetime - Thank you Alejo! My husband, ten year old daughter and I went on this hike today and wow were we impressed. It was such a unique experience. We saw a humming bird, iguanas, hawk and so much more. Alejo was incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora and his passion for preservation was inspiring. We would definitely recommend this hike to any moderately fit adult and/or child. Bring plenty of water and make sure to eat breakfast before the hike- you’ll need the energy when you get to the beach to check out the waves. Amazing experience 10/10. Don’t miss out on this experience!

More than worth it!!! - Deva (the guide) was excellent. Incredibly knowledgeable about everything we saw, the region, and the wildlife of the area. The hike was not “hard”, but had a couple ascents and decents that anyone with mobility issues would find challenging. Moderate terrain with stunning views. Deva was able to speak to all we saw, heard, and smelled. Skillfull guide who took great care of us and very considerate. Beautiful scenes, settings, and experiences. I will recommend to anyone I know going to this region.

Must do! - A must do when in Sayulita. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but clearly loved what he did, and his enthusiasm was contagious to all of us on the tour. They cater the tour to each individual’s ability and interests, from pro hikers to families with infants. We went with friends but I’m looking forward to going back and bringing my children. We’ve been in Sayulita before but I saw new trails and beautiful vistas we hadn’t discovered previously. Highly recommend!

A must do on your Sayulita trip! - Alejo was a fantastic guide! He was personable and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area, pointing out lots of interesting things along the way. The hike takes you through lush palm jungle and to a beautiful beach- it’s relatively flat but I’d recommend wearing shoes or Chaco type sandals. It’s suitable for children and is a great way to start your day. If you’re looking for things to do in Sayulita, this should be on your list! He’s also a yoga teacher and can combine the ecohike with yoga upon request.
