Unforgettable experience - A brilliant experience all round. Iaonnis was a great guide - friendly, knowledgeable, but most of all a skilled driver as he took a group of 8 of us up some genuinely scary roads into the mountains. He mixed fact, anecdote and conversation really well. We stopped off in a small village to taste olive oil, honey and raki, before climbing to 1200 meters for some vulture-spotting and of course, an inspiring sunset (with prosecco!) We descended to the Lasithi Plateau for a really good meal at a taverna, with plenty of choice of well-presented and tasty food. It really was an unforgettable evening - we are a hard-to-please bunch but we all agreed it was the highlight of our trip.

Saw lots of places off the beaten track we otherwise would have missed and had a fabulous informative evening! - Brilliant! We were dubious about going ahead as we had booked the sunset trip and it was clearly going to be a cloudy evening but we were so glad we did! Lovely run through the Cretan countryside with the charismatic, knowledgeable Alexandre at the helm. Nothing was too much trouble and no question too stupid as he expertly explained the history of the region. His passion for the local flaura and fauna of the beautiful area was contagious and by the end of the trip we wanted to move to the island ourselves! Delicious raki on the mountainside to keep us warm and a traditional meal with wine in a local taverna to complete the experience was the icing on the cake! Thoroughly recommend!

Highly recommend! Amazing experience :) - My mom and I were so glad to go on this trip. First of all, our guide Alexandros was a brilliant tour guide, he could tell lots of facts about Crete, Greek culture and showed an insight into their lives. Also, he spoke fluent English. Alexandros was so friendly as he also introduced us to Greek spices. You can feel very safe in the jeep, as they drive carefully. The landscape was breathtaking. The good thing is that you can also make beautiful pictures at loads of places. The sunset was a dream, just wear a jacket as the wind up in the mountains is really strong. In the end, we could try traditional Greek food, Greek salad with bread and tzatziki, homemade wine and potatoes with some chicken. The portions are huge, so don't eat before, and you can always give some leftovers to kittens and cats, who are nearby. Overall, truly amazing experience, as the tour guide made sure we enjoyed the time and made most of it! Highly recommend!
