This former leper colony includes preserved houses and churches, and a strong Venetian influence in the form of a fortress surrounding the village. With houses and churches that are more of less well preserved, see the proof of the Venetian occupation in the form of the fortress surrounding the abandoned village.
Swim in the crystal blue water before enjoying a BBQ lunch. After returning back to Elounda you will be driven to the small, charming and touristic town of Agios Nicolaos, with its quaint harbor and supposedly “bottomless lake”.

Beautiful - The sea was just sublime and the day by boat super pleasant, we make several stops which allows to enjoy the landscape while discovering several.

Discovery of Spinalonga - A big thank you to our Guide Christina for her support in the discovery of Spinalonga.
The visit of a leper colony, whose story was told to us in a beautiful soft and enveloping voice, delighted us. Christine is a very human person and whose French is perfect. I highly recommend it.

Brilliant day out! - Amazing day! Everyone was so friendly! The boat wasn’t over sold so it was comfortable and not too busy.
The tour guide was great, lots of information.
The food was incredible, was surprised at how much we got included with a drink with lunch also!
Lots of time to swim and explore the beach if swimming isn’t your preference!
Great value for money with transfer from hotels to the tour boat too, would 100% recommend!

Great day out 👌🏽 - A very educational and exciting trip. The boat ride was smooth and beautifully picturesque. The island itself has so many areas to explore and lots to learn about. Good day for kids also, our 10 year old loved it.

Fabulous tour - What a wonderful experience made all the better by our tour guide Christina, who was so knowledgeable about Spinalonga as well as the Island of Crete. Would highly recommend doing this tour.

Trip to a historical island - A great historical visit completed on a drizzly day. Stopping at Plakka for lunch too after walking around the island. The history of the island is intriguing especially the incarceration of so many due to their illness.

Highly recommend this trip to spinalonga - Excellent guide in the spinalonga tour, he was so knowledgeable and interesting. Boat trip to secluded bay that was very busy. .nice bbq lunch. We stopped at agios Nikolaos and had chance for a spot of shopping. Shame we had no time in elounda

Visit Spinalonga - Excursion very well organized, Guide to measure up.
However, I do not have the same conception of the BBQ.
A cold meal is not a BBQ...

SLOW REFUND - Booked a day trip to Spinalonga with Cretan Holidays they took my money and sent me a travel voucher for the trip I then received an email to say there where no spaces available on that date and offered me another date which I was unable to do as I was flying home. They said they would refund me but would take a couple of days After a couple of days nothing no refund asked why was told it would take 15 days for the refund I asked them why was told it was due to bank delay this is rubbish only takes a day to process a refund THEY ARE QUICK ENOUGH TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT SLOW TO RETURN IT
