Amazing boat trip, highly recommended - This was an excellent trip! Great value for money compared to the ones from tour operators. Very well organised. I was well looked after from start to finish. Hospitality was fantastic on the transport and the boat, we had a lunch, raki and watermelon included in the price. Drinks and snacks on the boat priced reasonably too.. the boat was spacious and plenty of room to sit and sunbathe etc, swimming stops were in incredible blue and calm waters. Book this trip!

Fun day out - Our family of 4 really enjoyed this trip, which was one of the highlights of our holiday. The guide was friendly and very informative. The beach is small and crowded but we just stayed at the boat jumping in and looking at all the fish. Jumping from the top deck of the boat at the second stop was lots of fun but not for everyone. We booked through our hotel manager at Ourania apartments who seemed very keen to promote it and although she said that she had personally been on the trip recently (kickback) she failed to advise us that the transfer was a 2hr coach journey. The coach was nice and had air conditioning but it felt as much of a bus trip as a boat trip. I would recommend the trip but there are some preparations that could improve your experience. 1. take a picnic lunch and some drinks. Our pickup up was at 11:30 and the cold hotdog lunch was only served at 16:00. 2. Take goggles or even better a snorkel and mask - the water is crystal clear and like swimming in an aquarium with shoals of colourful fish. Also, be prepared for a long bus journey!

One star deduction for: - After booking we received all the necessary information we needed. At the agreed meeting point we had to wait a moment as the bus that collected the rest of the group was delayed. At over 30 degrees, that was a bit exhausting. The boat trip was nice with great views of the north coast. Bathing in the sea did well, with the targeted beach section being very crowded. It should also be mentioned that the tour is less suitable for young children, as the second bathing stop is in a bay without a beach and a water depth of at least 8 meters. As for supplies, it should be said: the hot dogs did not have to be and we missed the announced, bottled drinking water on board. Overall, it was a nice experience, but with a star trigger as air is up.

Mixed Reviews - Mixed reviews on this. I used Orange Travel for 2 excursions during my stay. The first was the full day trip to Spinalonga, Elounda, Agios Nikoloaos & the Olive Oil Factory. This one was fantastic, our tour guide (Eva) was lovely, so knowledgeable and so kind. The lunch provided was excellent and we had a good amount of time at each stop (although the Olive Oil Factory felt like a rushed tag on). The second wasn't so great, it was the half day boat trip from Elounda. Collection was from 11am with a "light lunch" to be provided, therefore I had breakfast before hand. The "light lunch" wasn't served until 3:15 and consisted or 2 tiny sticks of pork and a thin slice of bread. The water provided on the bus was a tiny bottle, I'd have expected more from an excursion that was out in the heat & lots of swimming if you chose to do so. Don't get me wrong, the sights were lovely, but the boat was (in my opinion) too full and considering this is more expensive than the full day Spinalonga trip, definitley should have been more worthwhile.

Generally the trip was... - Generally the trip was good, but on the main page the duration was 6 - 7 hours, the trip lasted 3hrs and 30min. At the booking time I didn't know the start of the trip, I received it less than 24hrs, so I wouldn't cancel it. For the future the real time must be explained at the time of booking. The price for this kind of trip was a bit expensive.

Awful - Really not worth the money! Description says stop for a BBQ with pork skewers & grilled bread etc, which we didn’t get at all. We stopped for a cold turkey sandwich which wasn’t the best & a small glass of Fanta. Quite music no dancing. Description is completely the opposite of what you get. Only good thing to say about this boat is the views are lovely, water is clear & fun for jumping in to swim.
