We had a fantastic clear... - We had a fantastic clear day for this tour. If it had been cloudy it wouldn’t have been as good. It was a small van, just 8 of us and our driver / guide tailored the tour to us. Lots of beautiful views, snowy mountains and history. We saw the Eagles Neat from a distance. Plenty of time near the lake to walk and visit one of the numerous coffee and cake shops. As it was between seasons ghe other shops were closed, but that didn’t matter to us.

Thank you Antonio for a wonderful afternoon exploring. - Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Salzburg! We were incredibly lucky to have Antonio as our guide and also to have our booking become a virtual private tour as we were the only people on this trip. We were taken in an immaculately clean and comfortable luxury Mercedes which enabled Antonio to take us to some otherwise inaccessible spots. His knowledge of the area was amazing and made the whole experience a wonderful eye opener to this beautiful region.

Outstanding experience - Richard, the tour guide and Roland, the bus driver were fantastic. The sites of driving into the mountains and the small villages that we visited were like something out of a fairy tale book! HIGHLY recommend!

Wonderful day and learned so much of local history. - The beauty of the snow capped mountain range, the stunning town with its added bonus of a Christmas market with crampus run, topped off with the abundance of knowledge of the area volunteered to us en-route. Amazing….. Leopaldo was fantastic and a lovely gentleman. Our lives are more fulfilled having met this man.

Bavarian Mountains. - Our driver/tour guide, Andrius? (Andrew) was very good. Unfortunately we had bad weather on the day so that made the trip a bit disappointing as you couldn’t see the beautiful mountains.

Beautiful sites once off the bus - I didn’t realize this would be a large tour bus. So the guide saying “just to the right” or “just in front of us you will see” is useless in a big bus. Interesting information, but frustrating. The road was winding in the mountains, also difficult in a bus where you can’t look out the front. Also frustrating was the combination of tours on one bus. Stopping to drop passengers at the salt mine burned precious daylight and was not included in the itinerary. The time spent in Bertchesgaden was about 35 minutes, not 50. Overall, ok, but I would find another way to do this again if I had the opportunity. I paid about 140 Euros for two adults. Should have been less with the extra tour on the bus.
