You will then enjoy a guided tour of Neuschwanstein’s interior. Following the Neuschwanstein tour, there is an opportunity to visit Füssen, a charming Bavarian old town near the Austrian border. Here, you can enjoy lunch at a traditional local restaurant or take a coffee break. The return journey to Munich takes a different route, passing the beautiful Lake Plansee and traveling through the Austrian Alps. On the way back, there is an option to stop at the Linderhof Palace and visit the renowned passion play village of Oberammergau, famous for its passion play, wood carvings, and Christmas stores.

- Please note that during the tour there are many narrow and winding stairs. The building has 5 floors, so you’ll have to go 165 steps upstairs, and 180 steps downstairs. For visitors with severly reduced mobility or severely disability there is the option to reserve the elevator. Please inform us under special requirements if you need it. **Because of the limited capacity the reservation is only possible for visitor’s with a severe walking disability (with severely disabled person’s ID card).
