Look for your face... - Curious and intriguing place. Singular the story behind it. Recommended entrance south side (Sciacca). Prefer time to dusk... or bring an umbrella. One hour visit. Price 6 euro.

Nice. - The place has something magical. At the entrance, a boy explained a bit the story of the artist who made hundreds of "heads" thinking they were his subjects, after coming out of a coma because of injuries caused to him because he was in love with a married American woman. Many works have been stolen. There are also caves to visit, very suggestive. The view is breathtaking

just perfect - 1 week as a couple really at the top. animation team reception server ...at the top Melanie Giovanni Gigi Valentina Andrea and all the others.. welcoming pleasant helpful efficient... varied local buffets.. different pasta every day. late arrival and yet we were expected welcomed with drinks and snacks. I will come back without hesitation

A hidden gem - This was a very unique and interesting attraction. It exceeded our expectations as it isn’t just another castle, despite its name. It certainly has an enchanted atmosphere to it. It is a sculpture park full of uniquely beautiful art. There are also very interesting caves in the area, which you can explore inside. If you want to see something different when visiting Western/Southern Sicily, this is it. It is very easy to visit this, Sciacca and Capo Bianco together, if you have a car, as they are very close to each other.

Unmissable - Not to be missed! Super recommended: you walk thinking about the life of this man, retracing his story, the view is breathtaking!

Art and madness - We were here on 27-04-24 in the afternoon and we can tell you that it is a singular place and the gentleman at the ticket office told us that the abandonment of the site meant that ignored people (intelligent for them) stole or took away thousands of heads and those that remain are only the third part of the heritage that Bentivenga had sculpted. Today there are around 3000 of them. As we said, this kingdom was the territory and home of Filippo Bentivegna, born in Sciacca in 1888. He emigrated to the United States at a very young age, moving from Boston to New York and then Chicago, and had an accident on the work that marked his life and in 1919, having returned from the USA after the Great War, he closed himself in this farm in solitude, giving life to the court of the kingdom populated by sculpted heads. In 1967 his death came and the following year, a collaborator of Jean Dubuffet, theorist of Art Brut, arrived in Sciacca, who recognized the artistic importance of the work of the "madman of Sciacca" and so the site was renovated and open to public. Today some of Bentivegna's heads are exhibited at the Art Brut museum in Lausanne, established in memory of Dubuffet. Highly recommended visit. An unexpected discovery - Initially unaware that it was not a real castle, at least for what is expected from the standard imagery of a castle, we then began to walk an uphill path, under a scorching sun, surrounded by stones, olive and almond trees. The famous carved heads of Bentivegna guided us all along the path and made you wonder why or why? You finally discover that the king was... And the heads were all his... well I can't spoil everything. Bring a drink and a hat. Hello.

Not exciting. - We went to Sciacca for this artist. We were left with terrible; there were no plaques or reference for the sculptures. 3,000 heads representing who? All similar is the story of the artist was to how weak and simple. No big deal! Not in the Enchanted Castle, not in Sciacca. Many other places to visit in Scicilia of exceptional interest. For us, it's a waste of time.
