- 9C9VM5V8+9HW - Perfect for adults & kids, learning to surf is fun for everyone! Whether it’s your first time or you’re working on improving your skills, we can help you learn in a safe and fun environment. We’ll meet at Cullen Beach carpark and you’ll meet your instructor. Then we’ll get changed and head down to beach for an introduction, theory and important safety info. After getting loose with a yoga-inspired warm up we’ll get in the water, where your instructor will give you personalised advice based on your ability and goals. Time for fun in the sea! We’ll have about 1.5 hours water time, and the lesson will last about 2 hours total after we’re changed and on the beach.

Join us and learn to surf in Scotland at picturesque Cullen Beach! We’ll provide you a cosy wetsuit and you’ll brave the North Sea learning to surf with a professional instructor.
Great exercise, fun, and a unique way to experience the beautiful Moray Firth coastline.
• All equipment is included; cosy 5mm thick winter wetsuits and boots / gloves / hoods if required. We have a wide range of wetsuits to cater for all shapes and sizes
• All of our coaches are qualified lifeguards, in the water with you to help you choose waves and give feedback
• Cullen beach offers ideal & safe conditions for beginners; mellow green waves & long rolling whitewater

Great for kids (and mums) :D - Such a fun experience! A beautiful location to try surfing and Adam was great at looking out for my two kids and making it fun for everyone. We can’t wait to come back!

Brilliant - Brilliant experience , instructors were really friendly and knowledgeable. Learned loads and had great fun too. The beach at Cullen is beautiful and we had good waves . Highly recommend

Amazing first time paddleboarding - I was bought a paddle boarding lesson for my birthday. It's something I have wanted to try for a number of years. I was a very lucky lady,as I was the only one in the session that particular morning. Adam is a super coach and very patient! It was a full two hours which I throughly enjoyed. I was nervous when the time came for me to stand up on the board-legs like jelly!! But Adam was encouraging me the whole time. Of course I fell off!!-not a problem,but trying to get back on the board was a tadge hard,but I did it! It was a windy day and challenging at times. I am now thinking of buying a paddleboard and practice,practice practice!

Fantastic family fun - My Grandson and family did coasteering for his birthday and had an amazing experience led by Adam who was very professional and gave them an exciting fun filled 2hrs scaling the rocks off Portknockie and Jumping into the sea, the whole family loved it and I would highly recommend this fun filled activity for family fun days. Thank you so much Adam ☺️

Summer Surf Camp for Kids - This was probably my sons favourite week of the summer holidays! He absolutely loved the lessons and was so proud of himself for being able to stand up on the board pretty quickly. The teachers are all lovely. Definitely booking in for next year, thank you guys!

Fun times - Kids (10/14) had an awesome week at the surf camp, so good they both asked to come back next holidays! Not sure what magic you worked on the 14yo but he got himself up, dressed, fed and ready for 9am every morning, thank you to the brilliant Blue Coast team for getting them both active and having so much fun on the beach, they learned some great surf skills and made new friends too.

Thoroughly recommend - Brilliant first surf lesson for my 5 year old. As far as I've seen most providers have a minimum age of 8 for surf lessons, however Blue Coast are happy for any age to attend. Being under 8 a parent had to be in the water too but this was great fun. Keir was brilliant with all the students of varying ages. Great quality wetsuits. We will definitely be back for more lessons!

Great Experience - Booked surfing lesson for daughter (10yr) absolutely loved it.
Instructor was very knowledgeable and took the time with everyone to ensure they had an enjoyable experience.
Good safe environment.
Would recommend it regardless of age.

Great fun and memories made! - Great instructors, great fun had by all… kids mastered standing up quickly… definitely recommend and will go again. Booked coasteering too and enjoyed scrambling, swimming and jumping in to the water. You’ll have a great day with the team!!
