Highland Cows! - We loved our experience on the farm. We weren’t sure if we were going to see Highland Coows or not on our trip so finding a farm that had them really made my day. We prebooked but couldn’t make the day we planned and they very helpfully let us move to the next day (thanks Beth for your help!). They give you feed with your ticket and the cows loved it and came up to the fence to eat out of your hands. There is a hand washing station when you get back but bringing hand wipes would have been helpful as we learned cows are quite slobbery! We were in a bit of a time crunch since we were detouring to see the cows on the way out of town but if I could do it again I would have booked their 1 pm cow experience where they take you in the field and answered our questions. I would allot at least 30 minutes minimum if you are in a hurry, as we were. We got some great pictures!

An amazing experience - I brought my friend here as a birthday treat. As ladies “of a certain age”, we were really chuffed to find such a fun thing to do. All the animals we saw were obviously healthy and happy in their surroundings. They have huge areas to roam around, absolutely no contact is forced on them and they never appeared stressed. It was wonderful to learn about and touch the calves and to walk amongst the herd. A real privilege. Fenwick obviously loves his job. Thank you to all involved. Highly recommend

Great experience with Highland cows. - This is a great day out for families and couples. There are a great variety of animals to see and feed. There is a little gift shop and the farmer takes you into the fields with the highland cows to get up close. The calves love the interaction so you can stroke and take pictures. Its a great experience. Take a picnic as there is no cafe. Brilliant day. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Family Fun - Had a great day out visiting the Highland cows. Great tour around the fields and excellent knowledge from the staff. It was really great to get out and see all the cows and stroke some of the smaller ones while minding the horns from the big ones. Would definitely recommend people to have a visit. The day we visited wasn't great weather wise but nothing can be done about that but on a sunny day the views must be amazing over the farm land.

Disappointing Jackson’s ‘Farm’ Visit - Awful. So expensive for a dingy small farm. No effort made to make visit interesting or pleasurable. £12 peaceful! £7 per child. Done in 20 minutes. Don’t waste your time. Certainly NOT a tourist attraction.
