- Isla Catalina - Spend the day scuba diving in the warm turquoise Caribbean waters off the coast of Catalina Island, one of the best dive locations in the Dominican Republic. The day consists of a 2-tank dive to the St. George wreck and a shallow coral garden reef followed by a deli-style lunch and open bar on the beach. Places that are visited: Catalina Island The Aquarium (first dive) The Wall (second dive Beach on Catalina Island The wall In the eastern part of Catalina Island is what we call “El Muro” or “La Pared”, where we will dive to a depth of 25m (those who have PADI, those who do not have a title, will only be able to go down to 12 meters). The aquarium We will do another dive in El Acuario, the coral reef that surrounds Isla Catalina. This dive is at a shallow depth, between 3 and 6 meters, and we will be able to see a colorful scene of corals and colored fish. Beach on Catalina Island After diving, we will go to our beach, where we have loungers and a food buffet and we can enjoy a pleasant swim in those crystal clear waters.

For novices without a professional diving certificate, the cost includes guidance from an instructor. However, if you’re a PADI certificate holder, our instructors will guide you to the vibrant diving sites where you can maximize your experience.
On this exploratory dive at Catalina Island, we’ll visit two diver’s paradise:
- “El Muro” - Arguably, the most enthralling point where we descend through a lush bed of sponges, corals, and multidimensional marine life at an approximate depth of 3 meters. Leading up to an awe-inspiring wall plunging over 100 meters, it consists of a primary step at 25 meters and a secondary one at 40 meters.
- “El Acuario” - Owing to its ideal climatic conditions, diving here is effortless. We’d explore the untouched underwater realms, coupled with archaeological remnants of cannons from ancient colonial shipwrecks.
- Note: To go in this diving excursion it’s necessary to have diving experience or have been on a diving excursion before (at least 1 time)
- Note: We require experience to take this tour. It requires at least 1 time.

Best service and safety provided. Great experience. - I recommend this operation to all divers but especially first time divers. They gave you individual attention without compromising the beautiful experience.

Only book if you like being treated like cattle - Once they get your money, you're nothing but cattle to them to be milked for more money. Not a single 'Hello, welcome aboard'... Not a safety briefing, not a brief about what's going on. Overcrowded, at times unsafe operation.
Diving itself was amazing, but the experience was horrible.
Started out with hotel pickup. On time. Then we get shuttled to an otherwise deserted shopping center where we are 'accidentally' 40 min early. Enough time to get harassed by local sales people. Then we got shoved into a van full of screaming little offsprings and even more annoying mother, that yelled at her misbehaving devils louder than they did. When I complained, I was rudely told to get on the bus if I want scuba diving. Many stops along the way, at each you get harassed by loud, rude, obnoxious salesman.
Finally we get to the boat. About 60 people on the cramped catamaran. Wait, didn't the description say 15 people max? You are treated like cattle. No one tells you anything just jet on the boat. Even though I paid for scuba diving, they had no record of it. Told me I don't get gear, only for divers. After a few phone calls to make sure, I was graciously allowed to put on gear that didn't fit. They had specifically asked my size, and to no one's surprise, they didn't have it. Gear can be rated 3/10. Primary regulator had green $hit growing inside. Secondary barely worked.
When we went ashore, it took three boats to transport everyone. 20 people max capacity. On the was back (after lunch) apparently the boat capacity has increased to 30. Dangerously overloaded boat ride back to the catamaran. Overcrowded ride back to shore.
Never doing this again! And if you have any dignity and self respect, and don't feel like being treated like cattle, then do yourself a favor and avoid this experience. Save money and get on the cattle truck!
