Ben-Gurion, the World Heritage of the Nabatean city of Avdat, and Ramon Crater - Levi Zelkind was a gem of a guide. From our hotel pickup to drop off it was pleasure. He explained so much Israeli history that I could not believe it. We heard the story (and behind the story) of David Ben-Gurion's life. The history behind it and more about Israeli culture. We toured Avdat in the drizzle, but it did not deter his explanation of the World Heritage site. We had lunch near the site (It was Shabbat) He hiked Ramon Crater with us and explained that there were only two such geologic places in the world - the other being the Giant's Causeway, a favorite of ours. On the way back to Tel Aviv he went out of his way to find us a tour guide to tour the Tel Aviv markets. His choice - Eli -was also excellent and we had a great day with him. You cannot go wrong with Levi.
