Best tour we've been on - I can't say enough good things about this tour -- by far the best we've ever been on! It definitely helps that the weather was perfect, and we could see Mt. Rainier all day - at every stop! Our tour guide, Brent, was excellent! He gave us plenty of information but kept it interactive and curbed it to the interests of the group. He didn't lecture, and there wasn't a single time during the trip I wish I brought head phones to tune him out (like other tours) :) We had a young, fun group, which also helped. We were able to hike quite a few trails, and see tons of breathtaking views. This was the highlight of our 8 day vacation - both of our favorite part! Thanks Brent and our new friends from the tour for an unforgettable experience -- it was perfect!

Magical Snow with amazing waterfalls - Amazing trip with a great tour group and a knowledgeable guide Marty for the day to Mount Rainier. We encountered snow, some rain, saw breathtaking waterfalls and hiked in the snow. Thanks to Marty for the tips on how to navigate the slippery slopes at times when I doubted if I could do it without falling down. The walks needed a bit of stamina but it was all worthwhile. Lunch was delicious and so happy to have this wonderful trip. Thank you!

Great experience - Booked the all-inclusive Mt. Rainier hike tour. Unfortunately because of winter weather there were a lot of roads that were closed that limited our access to the national park. But our guide Marty adapted, gave us the best options available to us which eventually led to an absolutely fun 4 hour hike, and gave us above and beyond service, great information, and adapted the experience based on varying needs and preferences of our small group. Plenty of great snacks, great lunch, and really great experience!

great day tour - Marty guided our small group on the last really sunny fall day -- before the snow arrived a couple of days later with the cold weather. We had a lovely day with this very experienced guide who ensured we saw the best parts of the park before the roads closed for the winter season. Highly recommended for a day tip from Seattle.

Amazing option to explore more of Washington - A fantastic trip thanks to Kayla on the busiest day of the park in 2024. She made sure the time flyby with the long traffic jam getting into the park, and more important never felt rushed inside the park and even offered to stay longer in the park to mark up for the time lost earlier that morning. Stunning fall day with views to the mountain all day, a breakfast with a view, lunch was very delicious and the drinks and snacks were a great selection. Best bit the surprise after the last hike. We might have lucked out with the wildlife because how late in the season and how busy it was, but Kayla was super knowledgeable about the NP, the fauna and wildlife and we got the best view

Bucketlist nailed - Mathew was a great tour guide. He made sure we saw the highlights and got multiple views of different locations of the mountain. I told him we wanted to see a bear and he said there had been sightings of a momma and her cubs so it was possible and as soon as we got to one of our locations we saw her!

Awesome Day with Lindsey - The tour was great. The tours are only as good as the guide and Lindsey was awesome. He was knowledgeable, friendly and fun to around. We had a rough weather day but he made it a great day anyways turning it to our advantage with his knowledge of the Mt. Ranier park and a positive attitude on everything. Thanks for a great day. Recommend any tour with Evergreen Escapes and especially Matthew as your guide. - We went on the Mt Rainier Trip. We had Matthew as our guide. My wife and I really enjoyed the trip, Matthew was very knowledgeable about all the plants and animals. We saw parts of the old mountain forest. Matthew was able to bring the Forest to life for us with his expertise and knowledge. He was able to provide the history about the area as well about the current plants, trees and animals. He showed us variety of berries, flowers, mushrooms, birds and chipmunks. He showed off the old hot springs and rust springs (from the iron in the water). Very entertaining, very inclusive, providing great enjoyment for our whole group. I would defiantly recommend any tour with Evergreen Escapes and especially Matthew as your guide. I would give him six stars instead of five he was that good and knowledgeable. My wife and I went on three different trips while we were visiting Seattle and his Mt Rainier guided tour was the best of our trips by far. If you want a great tour, I would pick Evergreen Escapes they have great guides. Hopefully you will get on a tour with Matthew as your guide and you will learn a lot. He went out of his way to try to get us a good picture of the summit which was hiding in the clouds the day we went. But by the end of the day, we finally got that whole Mt Rainier picture. The clouds cleared and we got some good pictures. They provided coffee, tea and water. Great snacks, a good lunch and good deserts. We started off with French pressed coffee and flavored bread. Our whole group enjoyed the tour. My Wife and I really had fun and think anyone booking this will have fun too. Six Stars (I guess I can live with 5 stars). We even got some pictures of the wild Elk. I would defiantly recommend this tour.

Scenery is spectacular - We booked through Viator but the tour was subcontracted out to Evergreen. The lunch was advertised as a local artisan meal. It was barely edible. The tour guide was less than adequate. I've never had a bad tour with Viator but this one really wasn't up to par. That said the scenery, hikes, and Rainer location was spectacular.
