Lived the tour. If you only have day to squeeze in both. - Our guide, Lucas, was amazing. He was a perfect fit for the hike as he is super knowledgeable and passionate for nature. He always made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. Lunch was excellent. Was expecting sandwiches but got a gourmet catered meal. Wineries were fun and interesting. The owners were very engaging.

Tess was great. - Great tour. Tess was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and took us to great spots. Breakfast and lunch were more than just a sandwich like most other tours. I would definitely use this company again, especially if we could get Tess again as our tour guide.

Fantastic Day - Really an amazing experience, Karen is about as good of a guide as you can get. What really sets Evergreen Escapes apart from others is they take care of EVERYTHING for you: food, parking/pickup, driving, hiking gear, trail guide...just show up with a good camera and some good walking shoes and you're set. Do remember you're in Washington, and so weather may obscure Mt. Ranier the day you go out, but it's so beautiful out there that even without Ranier there's plenty of beauty to go around. Wine was fantastic, food was fantastic, views were fantastic, company was fantastic, day was fantastic, worth every dollar.

Top Notch - Hiking & Wine Tasting - What a fabulous way to spend a day in the Pacific Northwest!!! Karen, our guide, was outstanding providing us with information and always staying ahead to make our trip enjoyable. The picnic lunch was excellent and Karen ran ahead so that she could have it all setup for us. And the wine tasting at 2 wineries topped off the trip nicely. Generous pours and able to taste 6+ wines at each stop! Vastly different landscapes make the driving (or rather, the ride) well worth it I would highly recommend this tour!

Hiking with breathtaking views and wine - Highly recommend! Kevin, our tour guide picked us up bright and early with pep in his step. As we drove to Mt. Rainier, he told us about the history, culture and weather/climate. He made extra stops to show us wild life and beautiful scenic views. The morning coffee and pastries were yummy. We hiked Nisqually Vista Trail and it was absolutely breathtaking (literally for me, but worth every step). We ate our homemade lunch at the picnic area. It was so very good! After lunch, we stopped at two wonderful wineries, Owen Roe and Fortuity Cellars for a wine tasting adventure. Both wineries showcased what Yakima Valley had to offer with their personal touch.

Memorable Day! - Sarah, our guide, chef, and chauffeur for the day, was phenomenal !!! She was so sweet, knowledgeable, engaging, and patient!! This tour is a great blend of activity between hiking and wine tasting . The views all day are amazing. My favorite part was hiking the Natchez trail on the Pacific Crest Trail with stunning views of Mt Ranier and then a fabulous lunch with grilled chicken, pesto pasta, and broccoli salad. After, we visited 2 wineries in Yakima Valley. Fortuity winery was so fun and educational (and the wine is delish)! There’s plenty of snacks and drinks all day. Tips: 1) you can hike in running shoes but hiking shoes might feel more stable . 2)Be mentally ready for lots of seat time in the van (several hours at time) between Mt Rainer and the wineries is about 2 hours and then returning to Seattle is about 3 hrs. Still worth the time- such a memorable trip with a nice variety!!!

Great Tour - Highly Recommend - This was the best thing my husband and I could have done while visiting Seattle! Kevin was a great guide and went out of his way to show us and tell us about Washington state. He pointed out points of interest along the drive, stopped at some great places to get photos, and answered all of our questions about the nature and fauna in Mt. Rainier National Park! He was a great guide and photographer when we were hiking. Our picnic was great as were the wineries we went to after our hike. Overall, highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seattle! It was a great way for us to end our trip.

Breathtakingly beautiful - What a day! This is a must do, for anyone interested in hiking, breathtaking scenery, fun, geology, geography, horticulture, foraging, wildlife, history, wine and getting in the great outdoors! Ben was our guide, he was an encyclopedia of local knowledge, he explained so much of what we were seeing, pointed out interesting reference points, and explained about many of the wildflowers of the naches trail, which were in full bloom, and so abundant! We could have spent all week there, the two vineyards were great too, all included in the price were the tasting room sessions, we bought a bottle from each place, owen roe and freehand cellars. We recommend you go on evergreenescapes website to search the many tours they have available, you'll be sure to find an experience that suits anyone! Many thanks for an unforgettable trip!

Rip off - Was sick the morning of the hike after potentially being exposed to Covid and Viator/this company denied a refund request. $600 loss and still unable to attend the hike. Obviously they are more concerned about money than customer service.
