Great For All Ages - Lots of fun for all ages. Butterfly House has species from all over the world. There is a dinosaur section for the young ones

A day well spent - This was a day well spent. Based on all there was to do, I knew it was going to be an all day visit, which it was. It is a museum for children (I wasn't sure if it was also going to be an adult museum, but it was really for kids). My 7 year old loved it. I thought that the actual museum was just ok -- it wasn't super large. But all the add ons made it super special (the planetarium, the laser show, and the IMAX, all of which we did). While the planetarium and laser show are included with the tickets, you have to reserve them when you get your tickets. So it's important to either buy your tickets in advance (I think the planetarium can't be reserved in advance before the day of but I'm not sure, we bought our tickets in person the morning of) or arrive early day of. Sure enough, some of the things were full by noon and I was glad we started early. It's a full day to get in an IMAX show (extra cost), the planetarium, and the laser show, which are all timed tickets. The butterfly area is super cool. They had a show of illusions which was super fun. There's a room of hands on physics things that are super fun for kids. We stayed until they closed and we started shortly after they opened. It's a little intense with kids running around, but it's manageable. They do not have a place to eat, so be sure to pack lunches. We didn't have time to leave and get food, so we wound up just eating the snacks I brought. My daughter also caught a cold after being there, which makes sense with all the kids and their germs, so be prepared for some exposures, and perhaps plan the timing in your trip accordingly.

Great IMAX Experience - This was the best movie experience in four years in Seattle. I like that they have discounts for local residents. I honestly don’t think that I could go to a regular movie theater after this experience. Very friendly staff. The PSC is deserving of our support. As you walk through you see hoards of children with their parents having fun with the interactive exhibits.I can’t wait to go back to see the actual exhibits. Kudos to the center and staff.

Afternoon well spent! - Lots of fun for the kids and adults. Many different hands on activities that teach science and creativity. Easy to find, close to the space needle.

Great for kids under 12 - Agree that this is a little dated and some of the exhibits could be updated but it is great for kids under 12 Visited with our 9 and 6 year old after an Alaskan cruise. Went from 10:30-12:30 on a sat am and returned after lunch for the planetarium show and laser show. Both tix were included in general admission. Also part of the city seattle pass. A great way for kids to spend a kiddo focused day

Nostalgic, but fell a little short - Our favorite activity was the laser show by far! While the PSC hit a lot of nostalgic spots for me, I was hoping it would have more exhibits as it did when I was a kid. Hopefully they’ll be able to add more in the future

Great, But Confusing - This is a great center / museum with numerous hands-on activities that our kids (3 and 5) certainly enjoyed. My one gripe, besides the price of admission, was that there weren't any displayed maps that I recall seeing. I'm sure there is probably an app or something, but it would have been great to have several "you are here" style maps scattered about the facility. Saw the Abba laser light show- it was interesting and worthwhile.

Not worth the price of admission - We normally love science museums but this one wasn’t great. It seems geared to kids aged 10 and under and even then, it’s small and most of the exhibits seem old and nothing has been updated in a long time. We also saw the ‘laser show’, which was free, and left partway through. It was boring and I’m glad we didn’t pay to attend. The butterfly house was okay, but there weren’t many butterflies and there only seemed to be about 5 different types. The dinosaur exhibit was a lot of animatronic dinosaurs but nothing of any real substance, considering it’s supposed to be a science museum. We were there on a quiet weekday and there were still lots of school or summer camp groups there. If you went when it was busy, it would be a nightmare.
