  • Lake Union - Along our walk, you might spot this lake filled with houseboats and commercial fishing vessels and with many viewpoints with city skyline views.

  • Theo Chocolate - Stop inside the Theo tasting room to sample some of the best chocolate found in Seattle. Your tour guide will fill you in on the history of the building, which dates back to over one hundred years

  • The Rocket - We may pass under this sculpture that’s part of a collection of Fremont’s space-themed outdoor art.

  • Fremont Canal Park - Our tour may briefly route past this park that stretches alongside the Fremont Canal, where year-round you can spot kayakers, rowers, and commercial and private ships passing by.

  • Fremont Vintage Mall - You might want to arrive early in Fremont for your cocktail tour to do some shopping at this hidden gem of a shop, where you can browse vinyl records, vintage clothing, antique home decor, second-hand furniture, and so much more.

  • Red Star Taco Bar - Stop here before or after your Seattle cocktail tour to continue enjoying Fremont’s food and drink scene. This restaurant specializes in tasty margaritas and even tastier tacos!

Additional Information

If you’re going to have a cocktail in Seattle, why not have one with us in the center of the universe? Come try out some city classics and local spirits on this cocktail tour of Fremont, Seattle’s funkiest neighborhood.

Whether or not you’re an aficionado, your guide will start you out with the basics, with a couple of tastes of spirits produced right here in state. We’ll then move on to full cocktails that we hope will make your taste buds sing!

Cocktail number one might be a Seattle classic or a creation specific to the neighborhood, its history, or its community. As you enjoy your libation, your guide will fill you in on the long history of booze in the Northwest, from the days of Prohibition to the modern-day booming cocktail scene Seattle’s become since the 90s.

Along the way, you’ll find some landmarks scattered throughout the neighborhood, seemingly out-of-place objects – including the famous Fremont Troll – that have truly defined Fremont as the “Center of the Universe”.

  • The tour meeting point is accessible by King County Metro bus lines or by bicycle via the car-free Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop bicycle trail. There are several parking lots in the area and street parking may be limited, so please plan accordingly.

Seattle Cocktail Tour - The tour was informative - lots of history about Seattle intermixed with different types of cocktails. Lee obviously had done a lot of research and was well prepared. He kept the tour moving and interactive; he was personable and made everyone feel comfortable. I enjoyed the various cocktails and knowing their ingredients. Excellent guide and tour of the Pioneer Square area.

private and tasty cocktail tour - We were lucky to be the only Guests on this tour, so my wife and myself had the guide just for us. It was just great. There's no chance to make this experience on your own! Lee knows a lot about the places we were and the cocktails as well. The drinks were excellent. Be sure not to have an empty stomach when you participate. If you are planning to make this tour, we cross our fingers that you will get Lee as your Guide. We had so much fun!

Great drinks, great companions - Great drinks, great info! Wouldn’t have found these places on my own and never would’ve known where/how these drinks originated. Fingers crossed you also get Lee.

Fun adventure while learning - Didn’t know anything about the existence of such a tour, till I came across the Facebook Ad. And I’m glad, I did it with my friends. Not only did I learnt about the hidden gems in Pioneer Square (Marble Room), I also learnt a lot of buffets about cocktails from the guide, Lee. Not only was Lee knowledgeable, he also took time to learnt each of our likes n dislikes, and ordered cocktails based on those parameters. 3-hours well spent, learning stuff while having fun

Learned a lot! - This was my first time ever attending a Seattle tour. I honestly thought it was going to be a bit boring but I was honestly surprised. Our little group was humorous, and outgoing. Lee was very knowledgeable on the drinks and had recommendations for the best bars in Seattle. He was training someone at the time, and she was also very knowledgeable on Seattles underground city. So it was almost 2 tours in 1. Thank you all for such an amazing time!

What an enjoyable cocktail afternoon! - We throughly enjoyed our cocktail tour with Lee. Lee was very knowledgeable, attentive and shared his insights of Seattle history and cocktail choices. My husband enjoyed the marble bar especially the care and attention that were invested in the cocktails served. At the third venue, Lee used his initiative to choose cocktails based on first and second venues selection as the chosen choices were not available and remembered our taste buds.

Solid Seattle Cocktail Tour!!! - Wow! What a amazing tour!!! I came in with a big group of buddies (11 of us in all) for a bachelor party and we had a great time with our guide, Lee. The tour entailed a nice walk to 3 bars where we got to try drinks based off general flavor profiles. Our guide would ask, “do you want to try something ‘tropical’ OR a ‘pick-me-up’? Something ‘strong and refreshing’ OR ‘light and floral’?” This helped my group branch out a bit into trying other kinds of cocktails we may have not otherwise ordered on our own. Lee was super knowledgeable and engaging, and just did a solid job herding such a large group of rowdy guys. We loved the process overall. Thank you, Lee!

Fun..but drink selection process not great - This was a fun tour and Lee was a good tour guide. My only complaint is how the cocktails are handled. They describe 3 to 4 cocktail with adjectives like smooth, bitter, sweet and you have to choose the one you want based on that. But if you don’t like what you get you’re stuck with that drink. I wish they would give you a list of drinks telling what’s in it so you have a better shot at liking the drink you get. One I couldn’t drink at all so for $100 I only got 2 drinks. So that was the negative..otherwise the experience itself was fun.
