Amazing Tour with Chef Carolyn 😃 - I love the sights & sounds of a real market with fresh seafood & produce. Chef Carolyn brought us to the best tasting food shops Pike Place Market has to offer. Love it all!

Great tasting tour! - We had a fantastic tour with Carolyn, she was knowledgeable about seafood as well as the market, different sections, vendors and Seattle history. We had a group of 11, two in wheelchairs and Carolyn adapted the tour to ensure everyone’s needs were taken care of. Each of the tastings was delicious and the pace of the tour was well done. She even took us for quick look at one of underground spots. Thank you Carolyn.

Personal touch Seafood Tour - Enjoyed our tour with Caroline. It was personal and very informative. Not only did she take us to various little seafood gems, she also was informative about the history of the city. We had a group of 14 and thought she did a good job of keeping us together and showing us all a good time during the tour. Would recommend this tour... she is a one man show so she takes pride in what she does.

Yummy seafood tour - This tour was great. Our guide, Carolyn is a former chef from Louisiana but she sure knows a lot about Seattle and it's history. The food sampling was very good. We learned a lot of the history of the market, and also some good restaurants to visit!

A must to do - Carolyn did not only take us on a seafood tasting tour, she also gave us the history Pike Place. She is an accredited chef, so don't be afraid to ask questions. You will taste salmon, shrimp, oysters, crab and the yummy clam chowder. You will see flying fish (but not their own) . There is walking involved. Check out where're 2 elevators are. One is the sky bridge, leaving only 1 hill to climb. Don't miss the opportunity to take this tour.

A memorable seafood tour with a true foodie! - Touring the iconic Pike Place Market with Carolyn (aka The Thoughtful Chef) was a true delight! She had a great personality and her love of food was infectious to us all!
Everyone in the market knew her so we felt we got VIP attention at every stall or business we visited.
This wasn't just a food tour; it was general education too on so much about Seattle! We got lessons in history, geology, culture, events...and left smarter than when we arrived.
This was a great experience with all types of seafood. We got to do the iconic things like watching the throwing fish, but importantly, we tasted everything from oysters, crab, cod and different types of salmon to seafood chowder, salmon jerky and shrimp cocktail.
We also got little insider tips on the market and sampled other items too like homemade cookies. This was a memorable tour that will stay with us for a long time to come! Highly recommend it if you've got a few hours to spare and love seafood!
We were totally stuffed by the time we were done and didn't need to get dinner afterward, so doing this tour saved us money on both lunch and dinner too! :-) A+ experience!
