A fun experience in Seattle! - This was a fun tour. The chocolate selections were not just typical chocolates, but a mix of hot/melted, sipping, ethnic…really unique. Betsy did a great job of keeping a good pace where we never felt rushed. I do wish there was more history of the city mixed in, but she did a good job of balancing the personalities in the group.

Pike Place Chocolate Tour - Tour guide, Ivy, was very knowledgeable and fun. We didn't have to walk very far to each stop. A few of the chocolate "tastes" were exceptional--chocolate brownie cookie, coconut cream pie, and chocolate cheesecake. One issue is I was never notified of the change in meeting place. I reserved far in advance, when the shop was still open (It had since permanently closed). The other tour participants reserved more recently and were told the correct meeting place. If our tour guide hadn't texted me about a food allergy, I would not have been able to contact her to ask about this. Luckily, we were early and were able to quickly walk to the actual meeting place.

Disappointing tour - We tasted some very good samples of sweet treats but nothing was discussed about the Seattle chocolate scene, process of making chocolate, or the importance of chocolate as it relates to Seattle (which are all listed as highlights of the tour). If you are wanting to just walk around and sample things, you will like this tour. If you want to learn about Seattle chocolate then I would not recommend (especially for the cost). We were very disappointed. I contacted the company before writing a review to share our experience. However, never received a response back.

Stay away - The guide was 10 minutes late, was unprepared, had to figure out where to go from 1 stop to another, and knew very little about the details of the chocolate or the area. This was such a disappointment and the worst Viator tour I’ve had.
