Great Tour with an amazing guide!! - Great historical tour… our guide Sam was amazing, his knowledge of the area was outstanding. He was friendly and informed and happy to take time to answer our questions. We were extremely lucky as there were just the two of us on his tour this morning, so we got to take it at our own pace with Sam’s undivided attention…. We came away with so much knowledge of Seattles history… Who knew how quickly it grew! And how many companies grew from humble beginnings!! Sam was very sensitive to include what the growth meant to the indigenous peoples of the region, which we appreciated as it often gets missed from the history books… we ended up oat the top of Smiths Tower, with great views of the area and beyond… Thank you Sam for your recommendations during our flying visit!! If you’re thinking of doing this type of tour, don’t hesitate it’s a couple of hours well spent

Great Saturday afternoon/evening tour in Seattle - Great historic tour with William who has seemingly limitless knowledge of the city and its deep history. The tour concluded at the top of Smith Tower with an amazing view of the city. William was very friendly and also took so many of our questions that just added to the experience.

Enjoyable stroll through a less than normal neighborhood. - Very sweet tour guide, very knowledgeable. Knows the city well. His nervous charm was fantastic. Got to see a side of this area that I have not seen before. Landmarks I had walked by things that Will gave value to and corrected history that I never knew. Amazing. Thank you.

Great private tour - We were very fortunate that our tour was only three people busy, and were well informed about all our questions. William had a very detailed answer to every question, you rarely get that lucky

Be in the know when you go! - William conducted this tour for my husband and granddaughter and me. It’s obvious he loves his hometown of Seattle and did a fine job of sharing stores and history and anecdotes with us! We won’t soon forget Skid “Road” and I particularly loved seeing the Raven Skyriver blown glass “carved” sculptures and hearing about the Gold Rush and Native American influences. William definitely helped us understand how and why Seattle grew and bettered itself over the last 175 years. The walkthrough of Smith Tower exhibits, art deco and ornate embellishments and the capstone outside balcony walk around the building’s 35th floor observatory was awesome! What a vantage point of wharf, Mt. Rainier, and the Seattle skyline! Finally we sincerely thank William for so kindly finding some water mid-tour for us unequipped and dehydrating tourists.
