Top of Seattle - I went in March 2024. Decide to visit the oldest tallest building in Western States. Upon arrival, I was little bit confused with the entrance. Found the ticket. I had pre purchased drink as well. Soon I was navigated the hall to elevator. Prior to elevator, there was bit of museum/history shown about how Smith Tower operated. When getting on the elevator, the gentleman narrated story about the building. His knowledge is superior! Finally up at the top of the building, I first decided to get something to drink and sat by the window. You can see the Puget Sound, Bainbridge Island and West Seattle of course the stadiums. Nice view. I decided to step outside to view. The weather at the time was cool. Not that cold. Just Seattle weather. I took couple of photos. I don’t remember if I did see Space needle. The whole experience is phenomenal. I love it! Highly recommend!

Great views on a Sunny Day in March - The Smith Tower is a must-see in Seattle if you like architectural finds! It is beautiful. We had lunch on the 34th floor. It has Asian food and was delicious. The views are amazing. On a map of the city St James church was marked. We went there and it is a magnificent church!

Drinks with the ultimate Seattle view - A gorgeous location to enjoy cocktails and a 360-view. The preservation of Seattle history while offering a unique menu was done well here. I enjoyed catching up with friends, and the photo feature was fun, too.

Beautiful views of the city from the top! - Great! It was under renovation but the Staffs were still professional and we were able to take more photos!

Skyline Sips & Stunning Views! - Our visit to the Smith Tower Observatory was an absolute treat! From the moment we stepped into the historic elevators, there was a buzz of excitement as we climbed to the top of one of Seattle’s most iconic landmarks. Once at the observatory, we were greeted by breathtaking, unobstructed views of the city skyline from the sparkling waters of Puget Sound to the towering silhouette of Mount Rainier in the distance. The atmosphere is casual yet charming, with vintage decor that nods to the tower’s rich history. We made the most of it by grabbing a couple of drinks and some light bites from the bar both were pleasantly good and paired perfectly with the view. The cocktails especially felt like a little luxury as we sipped them with the city sprawling below us. It’s not just a pretty view either; the informational displays around the observatory offer fun historical tidbits about Seattle and the tower itself, adding depth to the experience. We ended up lingering longer than planned, soaking in the sunshine and city sounds from above. Only small note: it can get a little crowded at peak times, so plan ahead if you want a quieter experience. But overall, a fantastic way to see Seattle from a new perspective!

Nice elevator ride. - The building is really cool. The museum area is small. The views from the observation deck are awesome. No ambiance in bar and drinks were ok.

You are locking in a spot but might not be a great one - Reservations via Viatour might be good if you want to ensure you get a table. We were given a “reserved” table that was not in a great space. It was a bit disappointing. The food and drinks were better than I expected and were high but in line with these sorts of observation decks.

Please call and check on your tours - Call ahead of time. I booked this tour and it was cancelled. Us four sisters flew into Seattle as a reunion from all parts of the world. It was disappointing to be told our tour was cancelled, if we wait an hour and pay more money we may attend another group. Out of all the viator tours I have done, this was the only one that let us down.

The ticket is for the elevator-don't expect to have a drink in the bar - Extremely dissatisfied and disappointing. We purchased 8 tickets for an after work event. When we arrived, they said we could take the elevator up but that the bar was full, and it didn't matter that we had tickets for our time slot. The employees were dismissive and stated that website clearly said the $15 was for the elevator.
