Fascinating history and great views - It was great to learn the history of the tower in the exhibition before venturing on to the Observatory deck. Good orientation boards to explain views and topped off with decently strong cocktails.

Smith Tower - Amazing View and history tour - What an amazing tour! Richard was our guide, and the amount of knowledge he had was amazing, and the history of Smith Tower is also amazing. The craftsmanship of the building is mind-blowing and beautiful. We did this instead of the Space Needle per locals. They said that the Space Needle is overpriced, and you are rushed through it. The view from the top of Smith Tower is as good or better than the Space Needle and you can spend any amount of time looking at the city below. A definite must-do in Seattle

Guided tour option worth it! - We took the guided tour option. Expensive, but great. Richard, our tour guide, was an entertaining fountain of information about this building's historic construction, and colorful involvement in Seattle's bootlegging past.

Decently good - Beautiful views and tasty cocktails. Food wasn’t great and very limited offerings. Pricy for what you get. Staff was friendly

Would not recommend - We visited in May of this year on a Weds early evening. Was not impressed at all. This was our first time to Seattle but had gone to Space Needle before headed to Smith Tower. So views were about the same. We had thought we would go for the view, have a drink and a bite to eat. First, cost was a little expensive and we were told the elevator wasnt working so we would have to do 3 flights. It was hot and miserable bit we did it cause we had heard good things. Once we got to the bar it was so hot and uncomfortable. We finally got a table and some one gave us water and menus. No one EVWE came back to the table. And they were not busy. Now server, no manager. We got up looked around went outsode for a bit and back but still nothing. We left without any acknowledgement or drink or food. What a waste of money and energy. Would never recommend. We loved Seattle but would never recommend Smith Tower. Such a shame. There are plenty of other places to spend your money and experience Seattle.

Tower good but bar/ restaurant a shambles - The tower itself was enjoyable but we deliberately booked to come for Happy Hour - a few nice drinks with a view. But no, firstly we were told that happy hour wasn’t on even though it’s advised on their website. After we mentioned this to the barman he eventually produced a happy hour menu but then went to say they didn’t have everything on the menu, no draft beers and only a couple of cans of beer. So we order 4 Rainiers and then we are told they have 3 left so one of our group had to settle for wine lol. Great place but very disorganised. We asked to sit by the window but was told the tables were booked. There was only 8 of us sat in the whole place and no one else arrived!
