The Mogollon Rim helicopter tour spans 3 wilderness areas that are extremely hard to get to any other way. We start out from the Sedona Airport for immediate, amazing views, right as we take off! We then fly around Sedona showing off the famous rock formations before heading deep into the canyons to show off the ancient ruins. Our route includes the Sycamore Canyon, Secret Mountain, and Munds Mountain wilderness areas where you will have the opportunity to see all of the ancient ruins included in the shorter tours plus many more! Our pilots are trained by the most experienced in the area and know where ruins are that have been lost for centuries! This tour covers everything all of our other tours cover so if you want it all, this is it!

Breath Taking - This is by far one of the most amazing experiences I have ever experienced! There were moments when I was truly overcome by the views! I was awed and humbled! Our pilot was very competent, experienced and calm. We felt immediately at ease! He shared his knowledge and joy of the area which made the experience personal! We saw areas that we realized so many individuals would never see. I would highly recommend taking this tour. It was worth every cent! The pictures we took were amazing! However, the memories we have of all the breath taking sites will remain with us for eternity.

You don't see it all til you've taken the whole rim tour! - So glad we took the Mogollon Rim Tour. We didn't just see the red rock formations and other geological features, we were in them! Our excellent pilot took us into canyons and close enough to cliffs to see ancient. Throughout the flight our pilot guide held our interest with fascinating history and lore and took one all questions.
I would urge any visitor planning an aerial tour to seriously consider Apex Air, for their variety of tours, safety record, specialized helicopters, plus skilled, knowledgeable, well experienced pilots.

Mind blowing Mogollon Rim Tour - Oh wow... what an experience - Josh, our pilot, was excellent and very informative. The 50 minute flight was exciting in that it gave us a whole different view of the Sedona area. We'll be talking about this tour for a long time. My companion was concerned of maybe getting airsick... Josh assured her and true to his word the flight was smooth as silk. I would highly recommend Apex Air Tours. Both Scott and Josh run a great show.

Red Rocks Galore! - The 4 of us were blown away on this Mogollon Rim helicopter ride! Scott prepped us wonderfully and set the proper expectations. And Joshua flew the jet bird expertly, complete with a running commentary that was educational yet humorous. Cannot recommend this team enough as it can be the trip of a lifetime, guaranteed!

Fly with Apex Air Tours for an amazing Sedona experience — you’ll be delighted! - We booked the one hour tour and it was INCREDIBLE! The views and rock formations are beyond amazing. Josh, our pilot, was very professional and gave a wonderful narration of everything we saw. Definitely recommend Apex and would take the flight again!

Amazing experience, amazing tour! - Amazing tour! I called up to book a tour the day of and they were able to accommodate. Josh made us feel super comfortable and is an absolute pro. He was able to provide so much knowledge and took us to see so many amazing canyons, ancient ruins and spots. Absolutely amazing views so definitely get your camera ready. We did the hour tour and definitely feel like we got our money’s worth. Highly recommend for some once in a lifetime views of Sedona!
