Highlights
  • Sedona Chamber of Commerce - Begin your exploration of the unique and stunning Sedona at the town’s Visitor Center/Chamber of Commerce. From here, you’ll head south, encountering major attractions along the way, from red rock hikes to numerous shops and galleries. You’ll also gain a wealth of knowledge about Sedona’s fascinating and unusual history as you travel.

NOTE: This tour spans over 15 miles and covers Sedona’s highlights in 2-3 hours.

  • Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village - The Tlaquepaque Arts Shopping Village is a top attraction in Sedona for good reason. This lively plaza is filled with local artists and artisans offering a variety of unique items. The Village also hosts some excellent restaurants and cafes to keep you energized for your adventure.

  • Marg’s Draw Trailhead - Marg’s Draw Trail, a 4-mile round trip, is a great mid-level introduction to Sedona’s red rock scenery. In the spring, the trail is adorned with blooming cactus flowers!

  • Broken Arrow Trail - This 3-mile trail shares its name with a well-known movie filmed in Sedona. During your visit, you’ll learn about the town’s origins and its transformation from a remote outpost to “Little Hollywood,” a popular location for western films.

  • Call Of The Canyon Picnic Site - Sedona was forever changed in 1923 when filmmaker Zane Grey arrived with a film crew and a vision. Here, Zane shot the silent film Call of the Canyon, a western about a soldier returning from war. He sought the creative freedom that Los Angeles couldn’t offer and was captivated by Sedona’s landscape.

  • Chapel of the Holy Cross - This is a must-see landmark. The awe-inspiring chapel towers over the rocky terrain and provides breathtaking, panoramic views from within. It was designed to evoke the same sense of wonder as the Empire State Building, and it certainly succeeds!

  • Cathedral Rock Trail - Cathedral Rock Trail is one of the most popular hikes in Sedona, and it’s easy to understand why. Cathedral Rock dominates the skyline and is undoubtedly the most iconic formation in Sedona. This steep, 1.2-mile trail leads directly to the formation. Adventurous visitors can even climb the massive rock for unparalleled views.

  • Courthouse Vista - This location offers stunning views of Courthouse Butte, one of Sedona’s largest and most impressive rock formations. For a closer look, there’s also a 4-mile trail that loops around the butte. This spot also provides access to the Bell Rock Vortex, a high-energy site cherished by more spiritual visitors.

  • Village of Oak Creek - Known locally as “The Village,” this unincorporated community is another excellent place to find shops, restaurants, and more. It even features three large golf courses for golf enthusiasts! Your main tour ends here, but there’s plenty more to explore if you opt for the West Sedona bonus tour.

  • Lover’s Knoll - Lover’s Knoll lives up to its name. Many couples choose to get married here, with expansive views of Sedona’s red rock landscape in the background.

  • Crescent Moon Ranch Road - This area offers beautiful hiking trails, picnic spots, and numerous scenic viewpoints.

  • Crescent Moon Picnic Site - Crescent Moon Picnic Site provides stunning views of Cathedral Rock and is one of the most photographed spots in Sedona! Depending on the season, it’s also a great place for a swim.

  • Red Rock State Park - Covering over 285 acres, Red Rock State Park boasts some of the most beautiful wilderness in the red rock region. It offers numerous hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, and even guided moonlight hikes during a full moon. Your West Sedona tour concludes here.

Good Idea but Needs Some Work - It's a good idea but we couldn't get the app to work consistently. The audio portion stopped at our first stop. We could get it to work in our hotel room but couldn't get it to function in the car. This meant I was reading the material rather than looking at what we were passing. We did see things we might have otherwise missed, but it was not the experience promised.

Didn’t work well for me - It worked going North to South on 79, heading south to north on 79 while map scrolled not a word except at beginning in Oak Creek saying this concludes. So not very happy with spending 14.99 and just hearing about only oak creek

Beware!! - Beware!! You need to know that this starts in Sedona. My husband and booked this to drive from Mesa Az to Sedona. When we GPS the directions to this it took us to a dead end road next to the Chamber of Commerce travel center. I called the guide number they told me I needed to download an app. The signal is horrible there. After doing so we still couldn’t figure out where to go next so we went to the Chamber. They never heard of this. Felt scammed. Payed 29.98 for the two of us. Finally called taking time from our trip to find out we had already driven in and seen everything this had to offer. I explained they offered a full refund that I haven’t gotten back. They gave us 10.00 refund. I have spent 4 weeks trying to communicate and get the full refund and they refuse. It’s not the money as much as being told a refund would be given at the time and it ends up to be 10.00. The advertising looked like a park we would drive through in Sedona. . Very deceiving. Just make sure you know what you’re booking. It was not a good experience for us as it took a lot of time out of our vacation to try and get what we never used. More time trying to get a full refund that we never got.
