Amazing! If you're thinking about it do it!! - Wes was amazing!! We saw Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn. And there was so much more detail given than we could have expected!! They even provided lawn chairs and blankets.

INCREDIBLE - Incredible experience and highly recommend taking this tour. The setup is perfect, the team is so friendly, and Wes is wildly knowledgable about the subject matter.
10/10!!!

Best sky to go stargazing! - Dr. Shaffer and Jeff were very informative and helpful in describing the various stars and formations. It was a very clear sky the night we went and so we were able to view Jupiter, Saturn, the Andromeda galaxy and globular star clusters under the telescope. Dr. Shaffer also pointed out various constellations, the milky way and stars to us. Sedona is definitely a wonderful place to go stargazing. The sky was light up with stars and the milky way was visible even to the naked eye. Would highly recommend this experience!

Views Amazing with minor disappointments. - Sedona is great place to stargaze. The guide was knowledgeable with a documentary voice and cadence that added to the experience. The laser beam during discussions was a huge help to be able to follow what he was talking about in the night sky.
On this tour we looked at Saturn, Jupiter, Orion Nebulous, and a star cluster through the telescope, with many discussions about constellations and identifying stars, like Polaris.
The large tour group was broken down into seats ( with blankets) of 6 people with a large telescope and a couple of binoculars. It did take a bit of self-trial and error as a novice to get an optimal clarity looking through the telescope.
The only con was a group that dominated the main guide with questions the whole time, making it hard for other groups to get a question in. Guide could've done a better job at equalizing time moving around to each group after each telescope introduction. He stayed longer answering their questions, which was kind.

Prepare for cold! - The astronomer was very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot. However, it was extremely cold, which made it not quite as enjoyable. They had blankets, but they were not enough. We underestimated how cold it would actually be. Extremely grateful they had portal potties!

Just as others have said,... - Just as others have said, you really need to prepare for the temp drop at night in Sedona. Since you are not moving around much your limbs will get super cold. We bundled up like when we go skiing, used the extra blankets they hand out, and we were still freezing by the end. The host was super knowledgable though and we did enjoy our experience.

The experience was a good... - The experience was a good introduction to stargazing. With such a large group, you can only look at so many things. The information posted on your listing was not accurate, as they did not provide a parka, hand sanitizer, or even mention wide angle binoculars. Over all , this was a good event.

Just OK - On the positive side, the guide was highly knowledgeable, and was able to answer a range of questions from people on the tour. Seeing various planets through the telescope was perfectly fine, but for me, not worth the high cost of the tour. Perhaps those who are really into astronomy enjoyed the tour more than me. If you simply want to star gaze in a dark night sky, there are various locations from where you can do this on your own in Sedona.

So so value for the money… - I’m from an area with a lot of light pollution and had never been to a dark site before so the stars were absolutely breathtaking.
I don’t necessarily feel that I got much out of the tour, which could be partially because due to my aging eyes.
There was only one person setting up the telescopes, which for our group had five people per telescope and no one monitoring their use, so if you have a greedy person in your group, you don’t necessarily get much time per person for viewing.
Also, don’t expect to get a super clear view of what’s being shown because you’re not looking through a Hubble telescope. Just managing expectations…
The speaker was informative but I think I would have been just as happy sitting in a chair looking at the sky myself without spending $250.

Stars not out - Unfortunately it was canceled due to cloud cover. The organizers were very nice and we got a refund.
