You will convene with your Guide/Game Master at Starbucks to initiate the adventure with a brief gathering. The introduction will cover tales of the local geology, flora, and mystical energies. Feel free to inquire about any topic. Instructions for the game will be communicated through WhatsApp (an essential app for this activity), where you’ll choose your vortex destination and set forth independently. Self-driving is required, as your guide will not accompany you to the vortex due to Forest Service regulations.
Engage with your host via WhatsApp, taking your time to immerse in Sedona’s wonder and submit your inventive tasks as you discover them. Expect to capture impressive photos, videos, and sound recordings!
Additionally, your host offers scavenger hunts in Uptown Sedona and Jerome that are dynamic, stimulating, and interactive. This particular game is more relaxed, encouraging you to be present and connect with your surroundings.
Start times are adaptable but must be mutually agreed upon by the host and participants, and may vary from the times listed on the schedule.

This hunt is conducted via WhatsApp! Your host will assist you in choosing your vortex. The journey involves mindfulness and creative activities. Brace yourself for an entirely fresh experience.
We convene in person at the Starbucks in West Sedona for an initial strategy session. This also provides an excellent opportunity to address any inquiries related to the tour. Following this conference, you’ll venture into the vortex and partake in the game, engaging with your host via WhatsApp. Your host won’t accompany you on Forest Service property.
This activity incorporates audio guides from the tour guide, providing insights into the local geology, flora, and spiritual energy.

Most likely we will meet at the Starbucks in West Sedona for your pregame powwow. After that you will head off for your vortex adventure game and the communication after our meeting will be solely on whats app.

Happy Birthday To Me & A Most Memorable Experience! - I have been to Sedona many times, but had yet ever hiked one of its trails. It was my birthday and decided it would my gift to myself! I chose to do a solo mindful hike. The sponsor, Tara, spoke with me the evening prior to determine my level of experience and expectations. She then met with me the morning the hike to share which trails she thought would be best for me - I chose the Smoke Trail at the Red Rock State Park. She then explained, and provided via text, a selection of mindful activities I could choose to do, to enhance my hiking experience. She also advised me to keep alert to any "gifts" Sedona may present to me along the way. At first, I thought these activities might feel intrusive to simply taking a quiet hike. However, having an open mind and trusting Tara's vast experience in hiking, I gave it a go! The hike turned out AMAZING! The activities I chose to do gave me wonderful memories, and unexpected gifts, of my first Sedona hike. For example, see the picture of the rock covered with Lichen, I wrote this Haiku poem:

Celebrate getting older
In Sedona style!
I highly recommend this Viator Activity to anyone and everyone! Tara is very a very thoughtful, caring and creative person. Next year, I plan to return with my three sisters, and do the scavenger adventure hike - can't wait!

Guidance from the Soul - Tara was such an amazing host for this experience. She was so understanding about me being nervous to do this solo that she offered her service to guide me through a 3 hour hike. It was something I never thought I could do but her experience and guidance gave me confidence to do the amazing hike she recommended. Her passion to guide people through this hiking experience and the scavenger hunts she offers is what makes this so much worth it. I definitely recommend Tara’s adventures! I’m glad I met such a beautiful soul too!

Mindful Magical Meaningful Meanderings - Tara’s guidance and scavenger hunt experiences made my first visit to Sedona memorable beyond measure. I came to this magical place open to possibilities and desiring a deeper connection to nature, but uncertain of where to go and what to do. Tara and her suggestions were on point and exactly what I needed. My prescribed journey cultivated both adventure and mindfulness. The venture brought me closer to Earth Mama and to myself. The Journey Within, Alongside the Mountain - I enjoyed the thrill of this adventure up the mountain immensely. It was punctuated with an enduring theme of "trusting the process" and "going with the flow", led by self-discovery and awareness.
At the end of the adventure, I felt elated, engaged, and enlightened. I've integrated a piece of Sedona within myself me that will indelibly and intricately always be a piece of "me"!!
I highly recommend the adventure for those on the spiritual path of self-discovery / self-empowerment!

Meaningful, mindful experience! - Tara met with me to learn what I wanted to experience, and then she gave me a few specific places I may enjoy. The scavenger hunt is an amazing tool that made my experience in Sedona incredibly meaningful. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to connect in a personal way with this beautiful place.

Amazing Experience - Awesome experience that led to unforgettable memories! There were great clues that led to learning more about the history and culture of the town. The best thing by far was the random act of kindness clue, which led to making some lasting friendships and spreading good in the city! Would definitely recommend this!

Life Altering Experience :) - This scavenger hunt was truly a life changing experience. I am so grateful to Tara for her authenticity, passion, fearlessness, and contagious curiosity. I did the "search for the story" documentary scavenger hunt -- and let me tell you... this was one of the coolest projects I've ever had the pleasure of doing. Tara is extremely intuitive and was able to guide me during the creative process in such a way that allowed me to access parts of my creativity that felt blocked before. Tara takes the time to listen to your heart. I am so grateful and can't wait to continue working on the project we created :)

Lovely and informative - Tera was kind and engaging - we did the mindfulness option as opposed to a scavenger hunt that she also offers. We met with her and learned quite a lot so out the geography and history of the area. She provided us with excellent instructions as to where to go and a long list of ideas of how to better engage with the land and deepen our experience.
The reason for the four stars is simply the price per person for what we received. It seemed a bit much, but I am still very grateful for the experience!
