Next, travel to the Geysir geothermal region. From Geysir, proceed to the magnificent waterfall Gullfoss, frequently described as Iceland’s most beautiful cascade. Originating from the Hvítá river, this massive waterfall plunges 32 meters (105 feet) down two staggered levels.
Topping off your tour, you’ll stop by a volcanic crater lake known as Kerið. This crater, estimated to be about 6,500 years old, is found at the northernmost part of a crater sequence termed as Tjarnarhólar.
