Embark on a Super Jeep and Snowmobile journey across Iceland’s most frequented path, The Golden Circle, which comprises Thingvellir national park, Geysir, and Gullfoss. To make the adventure more exciting, we include a 1-hour snowmobile expedition on the Langjökull glacier.
Experience these popular landmarks from the comfort of an all-terrain Super Jeep, a vehicle suitably adapted in Iceland to traverse areas inaccessible to regular cars.
Remember, you must possess an International driving license to ride a Snowmobile in Iceland. The cost is calculated based on two people sharing a snowmobile.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult (1 child pr adult)
- Snowmobile drivers must be 17 or older and hold a valid driving license
- Minimum age for children is 6 years old

Amazing once in a lifetime experience - Amazing experience! Would highly recommend for any thrill seekers wanting to do something a bit different. We absolutely loved our experience snowmobiling. Our northern lights tour unfortunately got cancelled with another tour provider the night before due to weather/poor visibility so we decided to put the money towards booking a last minute trip to go snowmobiling and seeing the golden circle. The trip was well organised and we were well looked after and well informed before our trip despite only booking the night before. We wrapped up warm and we were expecting to still feel cold after snowmobiling but honestly the gear they provided us was brilliant, we didn’t feel the cold at all! (Had base layer, jumper, coat and then snowmobile suit on).
Golden circle was great too, this wasn’t a must do for us but I’m certainly pleased we did and got to see some of the wonders of Iceland. Due to the time of year we couldn’t see as much at the last stop as daylight hours were very limited but was still a great part of the trip.

An unmissable, magical trip in Iceland - An absolutely incredible trip. Our tour guide Aaron was brilliant providing interesting commentary throughout. Our very impressive super Jeep arrived on time to the bus stop. There were so many highlights but we especially loved the snowmobiling, watching the geysers exploding and viewing the waterfalls

Great day out - We had a fantastic day touring the sights of the golden circle and then snowmobiling on the glacier. Our guide, Thor, picked us up in a monster truck and was super helpful and accommodating. We loved all the sights, and the snowmobiling was a highlight of the day.

Not to be missed! - So well organized! They outfitted us in gear and arranged a beautiful safe tour and opportunity to drive snowmobiles. There were great photo ops too. One of the highlights of our trip to Iceland!

Don't MissThis in Reykjavik! - It was a long day, but every stop along the golden circle was amazing. Our driver/guide, "Thor," was fun, informative and energetic (he also drove us in an incredibly cool SUV/Jeep). The geysers and waterfall were great, but the highlight was driving snowmobiles on the glacier! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour.

I’ve tourists for the day - Absolutely fantastic day trip. Maximus are tour guide was brilliant. It is expensive but was so worth it, the snowmobiling and views are something else. You stop at a lot of places for toilet and food stops so I would just bring water and some snacks.

Great experience - This was a great adventure: We were picked up in a modified minibus that had monster truck style tires (ICE2). It was about a 45 minute drive out of the city and to a water fall, the driver was also the guide he was very friendly and knowledgeable, we then went off road to the base camp where we were kitted out for the snow mobiles, the snow mobiles were great, I really enjoyed them I cant say the same for my wife who was on the back and screamed for most of the journey. If i had one criticism of the snow mobiles, it was the staff leader went off at a great pace which encouraged all us rookies to try and keep up, which resulted in one couple tipping the snow mobile over and several other riders being left behind as they were not confident at speed (although another member of staff did stay with them). After the snow mobiles we went to the Geyser, and then off to the national park. The whole excursion lasted about 8hours and whilst not cheap, it was certainly an adventure and an experience which i would recommend.
