Epic last dive of 2024 - 15:00 31st December - Really nice and helpful people getting everyone organised and kitted up. Our guide Arnar was a jolly fella who took great care of the group and saved my dive with some of his lead. Pre and post briefings were spot on. All this in -14c topside and 1c subsurface. Stayed dry and warm throughout.

Wow! Just wow! - I was so scared to do this! I’m so afraid of the ocean and big bodies of water! This was a challenge that was worth it! We drove to the location, where several guides were able to check us in and help us get into the suits. We wore warm clothes underneath but they provided us a warm jumpsuit, and a water suit, rubber gloves, flippers, snorkel, and rubber head gear. We were surprisingly really warm in the freezing water! The only part of our body that got wet was our face and hands in the gloves. We didn’t really start to feel the cold until the last 15mins of our tour. The water was so calm that we really didn’t have to do anything put starfish, facefirst into the water, and let the slow current carry us down the bend. Our guide, Filip, was so fun! We got to learn about him and his travels and he learned about us. We ended up being his last group so it was more of a private dive. He was able to give us detailed instructions on how to dive, reassured us of safety measures but most importantly, how fun the dive is! Giving us little history sessions of the tectonic plate formations, land and history of Iceland. Filip suggested we rent a camera for photos, $20usd (if I remember correctly). Those photos didn’t disappoint. He took the funniest photos of us underwater. We were in stitches when we got them back. He also took amazing photos of the ocean, the formations of the plates and scenery around it. Lots of good memories! I would highly recommend doing this dive! Winter or summer!

Unique experience! - A unique experience! Not for the faint of heart. Suits were not the most comfortable but they absolutely worked! None of our clothes got wet in the slightest. The water was so brilliantly clear. You could see all the way down and knowing the crevasse exists because the earth is literally moving apart right there was awe inspiring. Our guide Lorenzo was helpful, friendly, and obviously deeply experienced. So thankful for his help at the end where I had a hard time getting out. I'm so glad I did this dive, even in deep midwinter.

Once in a lifetime - Once in a lifetime experience, did not even feel the cold the moment you get in, it was simply mesmerising. Our guide Gabe was so great at making us feel relaxed, carefully explaining the process, and even giving us some laughs along the way. 10/10 recommend!

Silfra Dive - It was awfully cold but our guide Henry was so amazing. He was funny, informative and put us all at ease! We had a member who wasn’t very confident but Henry and the rest of the staff were so professional and helpful and she even still got into the water! The dive itself is obviously beautiful and I really couldn’t recommend going with this company (and Henry if you can) any more. 10 stars if it was possible!
