Additional Information
- All participants must know how to swim and be comfortable in water
- All participants must be able to communicate in English
- Please note that that dry suits can sometimes feel quite tight and constricting, especially around the neck and wrists
- Minimum age is 12 years, please reach out regarding younger participants & Participants over the age of 65 need to get a physicians approval.
- Be at minimum 150cm (4’9) tall / maximum 200cm (6’7) tall, and be at minimum 50kg (99 lbs) / maximum 120kg (264 lbs)
- Don’t wear glasses, instead bring contact lenses or your own prescription mask (if you have one)
- Recommended to bring a change of clothes (the drysuit has a very small chance of leaking)
- We recommend wearing long thermal underwear and thick wool socks a a base layer under the drysuit
- All participants heights, weights and age must be provided to local operator. If you do not provide at time of booking, please contact supplier immediately after booking to provide this information
- All participants will need to fill out a medical form before participating in the tour. Please find a link to the medical statement on your ticket voucher right after booking the experience to be sure if you qualify.
- Please dress according to weather - no heals or jeans
- Note: Each guide can assist one group of up to six participants at a time. Up to three different groups can be present during this activity.

Park your car at “P5 Parking in Thingvellir" for GPS & walk 400m back along the road you came until you reach a smaller car park with all the snorkel and dive vans. Please be there 15 minutes before the tour is about to start.

Great Experience! - Hugo was super helpful and relaxed. He made the whole experience extra special. And he also made wonderful hot chocolate for us afterwards.

Amazing swim - Klaudyna took us on a marvelous swim through Silfra. She made sure our nerves were at ease for the cold water. In the provided dry suit and underlayer it was more comfortable. Klaudyna's instructions was very clear and the swim was amazing. In the evening we did the Sky Lagoon part which was also an amazing experience. A beautiful place to see the sunset

LOVED IT! 10/10 - This was our favorite day of the whole trip!! The snorkeling experience was incredible and so unique and then Sky lagoon was so beautiful and relaxing. The whole day was magical!

Great snorkel trip, sky lagoon topper - Great snorkeling trip! The water was gorgeous and clear! Has been a bucket list item for me to snorkel Silfra “between” the two tetonic plates. Adventures Vikings helped me checked off my bucket list item. Our group was the last one of the day and it was a small group, which made it felt very personable. Our guide Dory was very attentive and helpful which added even more to the experience and making it even more pleasant. Went as a solo traveler which can be hard doing large group activities but did not feel left out at all! Also Sky lagoon was fantastic highly recommend over blue lagoon went to both and loved the experience and views at sky lagoon

Once in a lifetime sort of experience! - We had a great time snorkelling with our guide, Cristo! He made the experience very fun and put us right at ease. And the photos he gave us afterwards are fab!
Our only slight complaint is that the small print indicates that you have the option to change the time slot for Sky Lagoon, but when we called them we were told their bookings were full, so wouldn't change our time slot. This meant we had to rearrange our plans for the day.
Apart from that, we had a fab time and would definitely recommend this experience to others.

Amazing Time in Silfra! - What an experience to be able to swim between tectonic plates. The water was so clear, the views were amazing. Highly recommend, it’s such a unique experience. Huge shoutout to our guide, Kevin, who was so fun - we had such a great time with him!

Fantastic. Must do. - This tour was fantastic if you have booked a car in the city. The snorkeling was a once in a lifetime activity- just make sure you pack warm, wool socks bc our toes were freezing! We defrosted in the sky lounge, which was another fantastic pairing!

Wonderfull adventure - It was really unique experience! That day the weather was bad, windy and cloudy, but our guide Levin prepared us and relaxed pretty well for cold water and dry suite. When we dive into the water and saw many beautifull coluors so clear and so bright we were astonished. We really enjoyed snorkeling in Silfra. I would definitly recomend it to everybody who like nature and want to try something diferent. Our hot part in Sky lagoon we took day after and that place was wonderfull, with view to the ocean, it was really relaxing and peacefull. We enjoyed at 7 steps ritual too. Hot and cold combination of Silfra & Sky Lagoon was perfect!

Awesome!!! - We had the most wonderful experience snorkelling in Silfra with Doris as our guide, she is both professional and fun loving! Her instructions are clear and we felt safe in her hands. It’s an awesome experience putting on the dry suit and getting into icy cold water, yes we can’t feel our lips and fingers but we had so much fun! Strongly recommended!
