- Ancient City of Ephesus - The excursion begins at Isa Bey Mosque, followed by a drive to a historic Greek city, which later became a significant Roman city, situated on the west coast of Asia Minor named Ephesus. Wander by the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Trajan Fountain within the old city of Ephesus. As you traverse the ancient marble road, you’ll eventually reach the Great Theater where St. Paul once spoke. Enjoy an open buffet lunch at a local Turkish eatery. In the afternoon, witness the creation of Turkish carpets by hand at a carpet cooperative. Continue to the Shrine of Mother Mary, believed to be her final dwelling place. Visit the Temple of Artemis (Diana), near one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The day concludes with an entertaining Leather Fashion show.

Participants should be prepared to walk roughly 2 miles on uneven and cobblestoned paths, including slopes and 10 - 30 steps.
