Many notable statues can be found in the nearby museum, including the statues of Artemis, who was both a revered deity in Ephesus and a source of conflict for St. Paul.
• Ephesus Terrace Houses - The Terrace Houses in Ephesus are a collection of luxurious villas situated on the northern slope of Bülbüldağı Hill, adjacent to Curetes Street and across from the Temple of Hadrian. Excavations have revealed two housing complexes, Eastern and Western, built according to the Hippodamian plan with streets intersecting at right angles. Excavation began in 1960, and the restoration of these houses is ongoing, offering new discoveries each year.

Your day will start by being picked up from your hotel or the airport. You have the option to add a domestic flight from Antalya to Izmir. Your tour will include: Ephesus’ famous museum with its Temple of Artemis and magnificent library. Following lunch your tour will continue by visiting St. John’s Gravesite and the Virgin Mary’s House. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
