Fascinating tour with a knowledge guide - The vast knowledge of our guide was amazing , he even knew facts that interested a moody teenager!. We learned a lot about turkeys ancient history and we were often asked for.our opinion, or if we wanted to have time to look by ourselves ,he also kindly took photos. The driver was prompt and polite which wasn't gone unnoticed. Very enjoyable and interesting tour thank you !

See Ephesus easily and comfortably! - Our guide Onder did a great job! He met us on time, got us in a comfortable van and provided an interesting narrative of the history of the area using a map. Our driver did a great job too-very friendly and helpful. Once on site and after we purchased tickets, Onder again gave compelling information on the sights we were seeing at Ephesus, which is worth the effort to see. I had no idea about how well preserved this archeological treasure is! The way to see Ephesus is with a small group-the small van could maneuver to the entrance easily, requiring less walking just to get to the entrance. After we walked through the grounds and exit, there was the van again amongst a sea of buses-and out we drove! Once back in Kusadasi, I asked Onder to recommend a restaurant close to the cruise port. He not only recommended one, he walked us there, spoke to the staff about what time we needed leave, helped us order and departed! We had a great lunch sampling local fare with an amazing view and walked out on time to reboard our ship. I highly recommend Onder and this tour-well done Onder!

Awesome tour, great guide, highly recommended - Had a great time on the tour. Booked a small group tour but it turned out to be our group of four with a driver and separate tour guide. Our tour guide, Ismail, is it going for his PhD in tourism and was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Ephesus was a very interesting archaeological site (admission was not included but was very reasonable at the equivalent of about 10 euros each). Everything in Turkey was inexpensive, including this tour which we thought was a bargain compared to tours in other places. Had a very nice kebab lunch for not a lot. Carpet making demonstration was very interesting but of course ended with them trying to sell you carpets. They were not too pushy about it. Highly recommend this tour.

Learned a lot about Turkey history... -
Learned a lot about Turkey history AND culture. We were an hour late and our tour guide waited for us! Besides Ephesis we were taken to the usual tourist stops carpet shop, pottery factory, leather coat showroom but we received warm hospitality and no strong pressure to buy. Our guide and driver took care to watch out for us. The tour guide was super knowledgeable.

We enjoyed this tour more than any... -
We enjoyed this tour more than any others. Our guide was so professional and was very informative. He was very considerate of our well-being as well. It was brutally hot, but he did his best to keep us comfortable. The rug tour was great as well in fact we did purchase one. However, the ensuing stops at the ceramic shop and the jewelry shops were a bit too much oversell for us.

Our guide picked us up at the Cruise... -
Our guide picked us up at the Cruise Port and the transportation from Kusadasi to Ephesus was very comfortable especially since it was a hot day. There were six in our group and another couple from New Zealand.

Our guide was Adam and he was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the ruins in Ephesus. You could tell he has a strong passion for the history of this area and that he studies it constantly. He warned us to bring plenty of water, use sun screen and wear hats and we were grateful that we heeded his advice. Adam looked for shade to stop and tell us about the importance of the various ruins we saw.

The ancient library, amphitheater, markets, and homes were all very facinating. We made one more stop at an ancient temple but there was not much left to see and then he took us to a leather factory where we were treated to a fashion show. After the runway show, we entered the factory showroom where they tried to sell us leather jackets, but hey, when it is 87F out you're not interested. I think it was a cultural thing where the tour guides need to take you to a leather factory, rug factory or ceramic factory. Interesting experience but we could have skipped it.

As I said, Adam was a great tour guide and very personable. I would definitely ask for him.

This was not a problem with the tour company and they went over and beyond to accommodate us and made us feel very welcome.
very enjoyable. had it not been the mis--communication I would have awarded 5 stars for sure
