Please Book This Tour - I could not recommend this tour enough. One of my most memorable nights out ever. Ali was fantastic and very knowledgable of the area. He was flexible and was able to accommodate our interests as they arose throughout the evening. Everywhere we went was a unique and wonderful experience. He was super friendly and charismatic. It’s easy to see that he really knows the locals well and that they know and like him too which was really nice. I would have never found these places without him. Also, Ali made sure we both got home safe at the end of the evening as well, which we really appreciated. Would book again for sure.

Great mix of izakayas and laughs. - Ali did a wonderful job in choosing a mix of places to showcase a variety of different styles of izakayas and his ability to speak fluently in both Japanese and English helped to connect with the locals that were also there which made for a fun time. Ali also understands the nuances of social etiquette and helped me refine my crude Japanese to a much more polite and appropriate version.

Perfect Sendai tour - Ali is an amazing guide. We were last minute clients and Ali's local knowledge of Sendai places to go off-the-cuff were perfectly complementary to the experience we were hoping for. Best of Sendai - Private tour through Sendai. I really like that Ali takes the time before the tour to arrange an itinerary that caters to your interests. We visited a few hole in the wall eating and drinking spots, each with its own specialty. Many of these places have limited seating usually reserved for locals, but Ali helps get you in to try these hidden gems that a tourist might otherwise struggle to visit themselves. Ali is very knowledgeable about the area and even gave me some recommendations for places to visit later in my trip, based on our conversations about food, which I will be sure to try later! I've been on a few eating and drinking tours around Japan, but this was my favorite by far. Small private groups let's you enjoy Sendai with the locals instead of being put to just the tourist table. A night of unforgettable memories, a Taipei-filled Sendai Yokosuka tour - When making Trips, she always prefers to do Trips alone because she likes to hang out with strangers in strange places. But these Trips are not easy in Japan. It's a language issue, because most Japanese don't speak English very well, and they have difficulty communicating. Before coming to Sendai, when I searched all over here, I accidentally found out that the Izakaya Tour existed, and I applied without hesitation. I didn't know if the tour was going to be a 1:1 or a group, but I learned that it was a private tour. I later found out it was a very excellent choice. Guide Ali lived in Sendai for a long time and as a foreigner, he was a passionate person who visited restaurants and liked to hang out with locals. First of all, before we meet someone who fits in the Sandy Yokocho Guide position enough to pre-contact and prepare the details of what food I like and what atmosphere I want to go to the store. Ali brought me to the first Yashitori store, which was really a Japanese local atmosphere store boasting the best Yashitori taste ever eaten. And then I went to the cocktail bar, a store selling Nihonshu, and I had the best cocktails. If I walked around alone, it was a feeling tour showing out every one of the valuable tastehouses hidden by Gogo in my heart that I would never see. This tour gave me a great deal of satisfaction and I highly recommend that you apply for AliTour if you are looking at this article alone or two or three people. I swear I won't be disappointed. If I visit Sendai again, I will definitely find Ali again.

A fantastic local experience in Sendai! - Even as a long-term resident of Sendai, I still find exploring local spots a bit intimidating. Ali’s tour completely changed that! He made me feel like part of the community while showing us some incredible places. We had yakitori where he introduced each item on the menu, along with his recommendations. Afterwards, he took us to a cocktail bar where I had the best fruit cocktails of my life.
