• Jeongbang Waterfall - This iconic waterfall on Jeju Island is the only one in Asia that cascades directly from land into the sea. Visitors can enjoy dipping their feet in the water. The rock wall of Jeongbang Falls features the Chinese characters “Seobulgwacha.” Legend has it that an envoy of Jin Si-hwang visited Yeongju Mountain (now Hallasan Mountain) in Jeju Island in search of “Bulocho” and inscribed words on the rock wall, which were later damaged by a typhoon. The area around Jeongbang Falls is rocky, requiring careful footing. While descending the stairs is easy, ascending can be challenging. This natural wonder is the only waterfall in Asia that flows into the sea, and when the conditions are right, rainbows and photographs enhance its beauty.

• Oedolgae - Oedolgae Rock (Lonely Rock)

Oedolgae is steeped in a poignant love legend. In a coastal village in Seogwipo-si, a couple lived with their child. One day, the father went fishing and was caught in a storm, leading to his demise. The mother waited on the beach for decades, eventually turning to stone with her child. When the father returned, he too turned to stone, with his legs submerged in the sea. Visitors can see the father’s feet behind the mother’s stone figure.

• Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff - These columnar joints are quadrangular pillars that appear as if meticulously carved with a sharp knife, formed by the rapid cooling of thick lava from a crater. The hexagonal stone pillars, resembling a staircase, create a natural spectacle. The waves crashing against them can reach heights of over 20 meters, offering a breathtaking view. The Jusangjeolli Cliffs along the Jungmun-Daepo Coast are 30 to 40 meters high and about 1 km wide, making them the largest in Korea and designated as Jeju Island Natural Monument No. 443.

• Yongmeori Beach - Located at the base of Sanbangsan Mountain, Yongmeori Coast extends to the sea and resembles a dragon’s head entering the water. The sandstone rocks, shaped over millions of years by waves, form unique cliffs. The hollow “oyster room” and wave-carved rock walls evoke a sense of history. The dramatic 30-50 meter cliffs have been featured in commercials and films.

• O’sulloc Tea Museum - Opened in September 2001, the O’sulloc Tea Museum showcases domestic and international tea-related items. • Songaksan Mountain - 송악산 (Songaksan Mountain’s peak)
  Songaksan Mountain features a cinder cone and tuff ring, with a peak depth of 69 meters, preserving its active form. Once known only to archaeologists, it is now a popular tour destination with many narrow paths. Songaksan Mountain served as Japan’s forward base during its invasion of China and the final defense line in WWII. Ruins of airfields, hangars, and anti-aircraft artillery are scattered throughout, with 15 coastal trenches below the cliff, some of which have naturally decomposed and pose falling hazards.

• Handam Coastal Trail - Also known as Gwakgeum Olle Trail, this promenade stretches from Aewol Port to Gwakji Gwamul Beach, harmonizing beautifully with the surrounding landscape. The 1.2 km trail offers a scenic walk along the coast with waves splashing nearby. It is one of Jeju City’s 31 ‘hidden unexplored places,’ selected in 2009. The trail features uniquely shaped rocks formed by hardened lava and a winding path of black rocks, enhancing the walking experience. Located in western Jeju, it offers stunning sunset views.

Handam Walking Coastal Path is a beach road frequented by divers collecting supplies. It offers a picturesque view and takes about 20 minutes to walk. It is known as the path of the divers.
