• Jeondong Catholic Church - Jeondong Catholic Cathedral in Jeonju was constructed to honor Roman Catholic martyrs from the Joseon dynasty at the very location where they were martyred. French Priest Baudenet acquired the land in 1891 (the 28th year of King Gojong), but construction began in 1908 and concluded in 1914, during the Japanese occupation of Korea. Initially built just outside Pungnammun Gate, the church was later relocated to its current site for expansion.
• Damyang Juknokwon - Juknokwon in Damyang is a bamboo forest nurtured by the town of Damyang. Covering approximately 160,000 ㎡, it was established in May 2003.
