  • The Blue House - Next, drive by the Blue House (Cheongwadae), home to the South Korean president. Located at the foot of Mt Bugaksan, the presidential complex exemplifies traditional Korean architecture.
  • Gyeongbokgung Palace - Continue to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the primary residence of the royal family during the Joseon Dynasty. Constructed in the 14th century and the largest of the Five Grand Palaces, Gyeongbokgung is considered the most beautiful palace in Seoul. Walk around the compound with your guide to see traditional Joseon architecture.
  • National Folk Museum of Korea - Within the compound, visit the National Folk Museum to learn about how people have lived in Korea from ancient times to today. Your guide shows you displays that demonstrate daily life for members of the aristocracy and ordinary citizens, including traditional farming and hunting techniques, weaving, cooking and other tasks.

  • Insadong - Stop at the ginseng center to learn about the reputed medicinal uses of the sought-after plant, and then take a break for lunch in Insadong, a neighborhood known for its traditional tea houses and antique galleries. Relax over a nutritious plate of bibimbap (rice with vegetables and meat) or bulgogi (grilled marinated beef) at a restaurant, and then enjoy some time to shop for authentic Korean souvenirs at the array of small stores.
  • Namsangol Hanok Village - Then visit Namsangol Hanok Village, where your guide leads you on a walk around this model village that features five hanok (traditional Korean homes) from the Joseon Dynasty. The restored houses illustrate various social classes, from peasants to royalty. You can also admire the site’s traditional Korean-style garden with an elegant pavilion and stream.

A fabulous day in Seoul - We had a fantastic city tour in Seoul ked by our patient and helpful guide Yeoni. She went out of her way to ensure that we kept together without getting lost in crowds at certain landmarks, explained the history of Seoul to us in a humorous manner and made sure that we all kept to the time duration. We also had a lovely traditional meal. All the sights we're covered within the allotted time during this tour. Thank you Yeoni.

Great tour, guide Lizzy is fabulous - This is a fun tour and Lizzy was a fabulous guide. While it is a long day, she gave us breaks and free time to walk around on our own. It was so nice to have an organized tour to all the sites in the city. Definitely bring water and good shoes to walk in. There is not a lot of time in the bus. Lizzy was very kind and helpful with non-tour related questions too (she helped me figure out the bus to the airport). I would highly recommend this tour and guide!

Good, but avoid coming in August and beware that they may sell you ginseng - Spring, our tour Guide was fantastic: she was very knowledgeable, fun, and considerate guide. The meal included was good, and the driver was very safe. There were two drawbacks: 1.- it was incredibly hot ad humid which made it less enjoyable for most, especially children 2.- a stop at the ginseng museum felt like a sales trap. Not very fun or explicitly stated in the tour description. Cheers Minerva

Good and nice tour guide, but bad planning 👍🏼👎🏼 - The tour was definitely pretty good. However, you spend a lot of time at the Seoul Tower, or in places that you quickly ticked off. Many much more interesting places were unfortunately neglected. You also make an unannounced visit to a ginseng Museum, where you theoretically forced to buy expensive products. That really bothered me.

Mediocre tour - We Wouldn’t recommend the tour. Hop on hop off bus would probably be better especially for the cost.

Not Recommended - Disorganized! Lots of confusion. Somethings were so ridiculously fast such as the museum tour and others ridiculously slow!
