Fun and delicious! - If you like Korean food and you like to cook, take this class! Jomin is an excellent guide (who speaks perfect English), and she walked us through each step of cooking three dishes (the menu rotates, but when I went, we made soft tofu seafood stew, bulgogi, and bibimbap). Everyone has their own station, all ingredients are provided (just about everything is from scratch), and the result is delicious and filling. The market tour is fun too, but the real treat is having an incredible Korean meal—homemade by you!

A must do! - An appointment on time, an attentive, cordial young woman, whose information captivated us during our market hours and cooking classes. She is patient and takes the time to explain again for those who are not used to holding a pan or being in a ha ha kitchen. We cooked 3 dishes: Bibimbap, Bulgori (my favorite), Kimchi Jjigae (found in all restaurants). We were quite proud of the results in our dishes. There were around ten of us from several nationalities, which meant that the exchanges between French, Americans, English... were quite friendly, there was a lot of laughter. I highly recommend this cooking class, everything is done for our pleasure. Thank you to the chef and her many helpers who gravitate around you to bring everything you need, clean, tidy...

One of the best experiences in South korea! - This was definitely one of our favorite experiences in South Korea. My 16 year old daughter and I had so much fun learning about different local foods at the open air market. Then learning how to cook different types of Korean food, and getting to eat what we made. Such a fun and memorable experience! I would definitely recommend it!

Great cooking - We have done these kind of cooking classes in several Asian countries as they are always so enjoyable. You learn about food and culture, meet a lot of interesting people and can enjoy your own creations. This course was run very efficiently we cooked a Kimchi Stew, then some noodles and in the end spicy fried pork. Everything was delicious. There was a tofu/mushroom option for anyone who didn't want to eat meat. The tour around the market before we started cooking was also really interesting. Would def recommend.

Highly recommend doing a class with CooKorean - We learnt about kimchi and its role in the Korean diet which was interesting. Food preparation was quite easy, it was good to try some new ingredients and flavours. Jomin and her staff were very helpful and the premises was well-organised and super clean. Vegetarians are well catered for with mushrooms and tofu replacing the meat. An excellent tourist activity, highly recommended!

Learn to Cook Korean Food - Great experience! Started with a tour of the local market and our guide giving us a some background on Korean culture and cuisine. We talked about ingredients and the varieties of kimchi. The studio was amazing. We made bulgogi, soft tofu seafood stew, and bibimbop… all were delicious. It was really a great experience and such a good way to learn about Korea.

We loved this experience, from taking the subway, to walking the MASSIVE market learning about ingredients, to cooking and enjoying our dishes. 10/10! You don’t want to miss this!
