- Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park - Here, visitors can see the Freedom Bridge, Monument of Soldiers, Bell of Peace, and an old steam locomotive that highlights the tragedy of the Korean War.
- Imjingak-ro - [North Korea Experience Hall] The North Korea Experience Hall is a newly popular attraction on the DMZ tour, offering a more educational and immersive way to satisfy curiosity about North Korea. Beyond a simple exhibition of division, it provides an engaging experience that presents North Korea in a fact-based educational manner. The hall features fact-driven content, including real testimonies from defectors and audiovisual documentaries, to help visitors gain a serious understanding of North Korea. This attraction creates a strong synergy with the DMZ tour by offering Q&A sessions with defectors, allowing visitors to experience content that naturally leads to a deeper understanding of North Korean society.
- Dora Observatory - A highlight of the DMZ is Dora Observatory, where visitors can view North Korea’s propaganda village through onsite telescopes.
- Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge - The Gamaksan Suspension Bridge, 1.7 kilometers from the Gloucester Hill Memorial, is known as The Gloucester Heroes Bridge. The regiment’s insignia is displayed on a marble-effect wall at the start or end of the bridge, depending on the direction of the walk. It is one of Korea’s longest suspension bridges, measuring 180 meters in length. It was a fierce battlefield during the Korean War. After a short 15-minute hike, visitors will reach a great viewpoint at Gamaksan Mountain, which is listed among the BEST 100 Mountains in Korea. Rising 675 meters above sea level, it is often described as the ‘closest mountain to the DMZ’ and is likely the most popular one to hike near the DMZ. Gamaksan is close to the ceasefire line, so once at the peak, visitors can see the Imjingang River and Songaksan Mountain in Gaesong.
- The Third Tunnel - Built by the North Korean Army to infiltrate South Korea in the 1970s, visitors can walk down the tunnel (about 500m) wearing a safety helmet. After the tunnel, there is time to explore the DMZ Exhibition Hall, which showcases the Korean War, old weapons, and a short film about Korea’s history and other information about Korea.
