Insadong - Wander along a delightful traditional street filled with Korean pottery, artwork, antiques, and cozy Korean-style cafés. After lunch, we’ll unwind and enjoy traditional Korean tea together — it’s said to boost your energy for the rest of the walk! And don’t worry, the guide will treat everyone to tea.
The War Memorial of Korea - The War Memorial Museum in Korea is a place to understand why the Korean War began and how it unfolded. You’ll see a wide range of weapons, tanks, and memorials that illustrate the war’s intensity. Your guide will provide explanations throughout the visit.
Gwangjang Market - We’ll visit a vibrant traditional market together and discover authentic Korean food and culture. Your guide will explain the market’s history and introduce you to local specialties. We’ll sample some delicious snacks together — pancakes, street food, and more! And don’t miss the famous “knife noodle” vendor featured on Netflix, known as the “Netflix Auntie.”
Basic Seoul Tour
N Seoul Tower - Your guide will accompany you up the mountain to the tower, explain the site’s history, and help you capture amazing photos. The cable car ticket is not included, so please prepare your fare separately. If you’d prefer to skip this stop, the guide will offer an alternative. Let’s enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Seoul together!
Bongeunsa Temple - This large and beautiful temple offers peace and history right in the heart of Seoul. We’ll walk around together as the guide explains its background and meaning. You’ll see colorful lanterns and lotus flowers along the way.
On the drive there, we’ll pass through Gangnam, one of Seoul’s busiest downtown areas. It’s amazing to find such a calm and spiritual temple surrounded by the city’s most luxurious district. If you’re not particularly interested in temples, your guide can suggest an alternative stop.
Starfield Library - This stunning library, famous on social media, holds over 50,000 books — a perfect place for beautiful photos. If you prefer, this stop can be replaced with a visit to a traditional Korean village instead.
Statue of Gangnam Style - The Gangnam Style statue commemorates the first song that brought global attention to Korea. It became so popular that the local government built this statue for people to remember it!
DMZ Tour
Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park - Our journey of reflection begins here. Before entering the DMZ, we’ll walk around this park, seeing the Bridge of Freedom, an abandoned steam train, and other historical sites.
DMZ - Private cars are not allowed to drive inside the DMZ area, so we’ll transfer to a public bus to move around. The tour will still be private, except for the bus ride, and your guide will provide detailed explanations throughout the visit.
The Third Tunnel - We’ll enter one of the tunnels with the tourists. The tunnel is 73 meters (240 ft) deep, and the round trip takes about 20 minutes. It’s estimated that North Korea could send 30,000 soldiers per hour through this tunnel. There are actually three more tunnels, and we’ll explain everything about them.
Dora Observatory - We’ll see North Korea up close — their lives without freedom, struggling economy, and people living under harsh conditions.
Museum of Modern History of Korea - This is one of the best modern history museums in Korea. After learning about the Korean War, we’ll explore the everyday life of South Koreans. The local government has carefully recreated life from the 1950s to the 1980s. Even though there’s no English translation, don’t worry. Your guide will explain everything.
Suwon Tour
Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion (Dongbukgakru) - This pavilion is stunning, but it also served as a party venue for the 22nd king, known as the second smartest king of the dynasty. There’s also a hidden story behind why he chose to build it here, which your guide will share.
Janganmun Gate - The main gate has a name tied to the tragic history of the 22nd king of the Joseon Dynasty. You can also see bullet holes from the Korean War. This gate is full of sorrowful history, and your guide will tell you all about it.
Yeonmudae (Dongjangdae) - This was the commander’s center and a place where soldiers trained. You can even try archery here! From this point, you’ll get the best views of the fortress! Here is perfect for photos.
Korean Folk Village - The folk village is huge and a popular filming location for many Korean historical dramas. Don’t worry about the walking! Your guide will walk with you, showing traditional agriculture, houses, and performances throughout the village.
Driving to Gyeongju
Gyeongju - On the way to Gyeongju, we’ll visit 1–2 attractions and enjoy an amazing lunch in Pohang.
Space Walk - Take a space walk and enjoy stunning views. It’s completely safe and fun! Your guide will join you. After a long drive, this is the perfect spot to rest, stretch, and regain energy.
Gyeongju Tour
Daereungwon Tomb Complex - This tomb complex mostly dates from the 4th to 6th centuries. Thanks to the special construction methods, these tombs have remained untouched and intact. We can enter one open tomb to see valuable artifacts and treasures, and it’s also a fantastic spot for photos.
Hwanglidangil - We’ll stroll through a lively street to enjoy local specialties, including the famous “coin bread.”
Woljeonggyo Bridge - This bridge was originally built in 760 but was destroyed over time. After careful study of historical documents and the site, it has been rebuilt beautifully. It’s especially stunning at night, so we’ll visit it then.
Donggung Palace And Wolji Pond - This palace was abandoned after the new dynasty was established, but it has been reconstructed based on historical records. Visiting at night gives you a truly magical view.
Cheomseongdae - Constellations were very important in ancient agricultural society. This observatory was built in 633 and has survived intact, making it possibly the oldest observatory in the world.
Gyeongju National Museum - This museum displays real, original treasures, including crowns and other artifacts. Don’t be too surprised by the ancient treasures you’ll see. They are truly incredible!
Busan Tour
Gukje Market - Busan was never occupied by North Korea, so this market developed strong commercial power early on. Even today, it’s a huge and lively market with very affordable prices. We can explore traditional blankets, local foods, and meet elderly locals in Busan.
Songdo Cable Car - Enjoy a cable car ride over the ocean! If you’re afraid of heights, we can switch to the Sky Capsule, which is lower but has a transparent floor for better views. We can even connect our phones to the cable car’s speaker and play music to make the ride more fun!
Haedong Yonggungsa - We believe this is the most beautiful temple in South Korea, which is why so many people visit, even though it’s relatively new. From here, you can enjoy stunning ocean views right from the temple grounds.
Busan Gamcheon Culture Village - This colorful village has a sad history. We’ll explain why refugees came here, how they built their homes, and how they live today.
Ahopsan Forest - This bamboo forest is lush and full of bamboo, perfect for a peaceful walk. Our ancestors loved bamboo because it is straight and represents nobility. Let’s take a quiet stroll here, even in the middle of the crowded city!
Fly to Jeju (Optional)
Jeju Island - It’s an optional tour for Jeju Island. If your flight arrives early, you can start the tour right away. However, we recommend having one free day to recover your energy.
East Part of Jeju Island (Optional)
Seopjikoji - A beautiful coastal cape known for its dramatic cliffs, lighthouse, and panoramic ocean views.
Seongsan Ilchulbong - A UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a volcanic crater. A short hike rewards you with stunning views of the island.
Seongeup Folk Village - A traditional village where you can experience Jeju’s old lifestyle, architecture, and local culture.
Haenyeo Museum - A museum dedicated to Jeju’s famous female divers, showcasing their history, culture, and daily life.
Haenyeo Museum - (Optional. It’s up to weather)
A unique hands-on activity where you can learn about the traditional diving culture of Jeju’s haenyeo. It’s an experience that takes place after the museum visit; we just don’t have the exact name of the attraction.
West Part of Jeju Island (Optional)
Hyeopjae Beach - One of Jeju’s most famous beaches, known for its clear turquoise water and white sand.
O’sulloc Tea Museum - A popular spot where you can explore Korea’s tea culture and enjoy green tea products and scenic tea fields.
Yongmeori Beach - A unique coastal formation with layered cliffs shaped like a dragon’s head. (Access may be restricted depending on weather conditions.)
Sanbangsan Mountain - A majestic volcanic mountain offering impressive views and a peaceful atmosphere.
Jeongbang Waterfall - Or Cheonjeyeon Waterfall (Optional)
Jeongbang Waterfall: One of the few waterfalls in Asia that falls directly into the ocean.
Cheonjeyeon Waterfall: A three-tier waterfall surrounded by lush nature and walking paths.
