Great Course - The description of the course is accurate. This is a definite must have class while you’re in Seoul. The timing was great so that the course did not stall nor go too fast. Perfect timing. We made 4 types of kimchi. The instructor gives each student a recipe/cookbook to remember the recipes. And, you get to take the kimchi you made with you. Excellent course.

EXCELLENT! Don’t miss this! - This was one of the best things we did on our vacation, probably in any vacation. The chef was pleasant and relayed our experience to the Korean family culture of kimchi making. She took us through the market and pointed out things of interest including where to get ingredients. Her kitchen/work space was well laid out and prepared. We were guided through the entire process but we made our own kimchi. It was delicious. There were 4 varieties of kimchi. Her helpers cooked pork and tofu and at the end we had a delicious lunch like a typical kimchi making day in Korea. I can’t recommend this highly enough. We were sent home with some of our self made kimchi packed to go. Very memorable day and she gives you a cookbook so you have the recipes at home.

Amazing Food and Amazing Guide - This was mine and my dad’s first cooking class together but also was our first time trying other kimchi outside of the staple Napa cabbage kimchi. Our guide was amazing at explaining everything throughout the making process of all of these kimchi’s alongside the backgrounds to the ingredients. The market tour was also amazing and provided us a side to Seoul outside of the lights and city life to a rather more chiller side to the city. I would highly recommend!

Worth the time spent! - This class was so refreshing and straightforward! The process from beginning to end was worth it and the food (which we made) was great! The instructor was patient and made no comments on any (and there were plenty) mistakes! Worth it!

Professional and fun kimchi making experience! - If you love kimchi and you would like to learn all about it, from fresh ingredients to short and long term versions, then this is the class for you. You’ll get all the tips you need for making it at home and a good overview of the culture around kimchi making and eating in Korea. The pace was quite quick as the group is around 10 people but we never got bored. We loved it!

Long-awaited kimchi making experience - First, we went around the market and were given a detailed explanation of the ingredients. After that, they explained each step of making kimchi in an easy-to-understand way, and at the end we sampled it with boiled pork and tofu. All the explanations were in English, but even those who don't speak English were able to understand and enjoy the tour. I participated the day before I returned home, and was able to bring home the kimchi safely! Thank you very much!

Worth every penny if you come to Korea, and so easy to find! Will be booking more classes with this host in the future.

Incredible Learning Experience - This was a fantastic experience and you end up with tons of kimchi. The best part of this experience is that I’ve walked away understanding the basics so that I can make it to my liking at home. Incredible market tour AND cookbook.
