Enjoyable day seeing Seoul - Our guide Chung was great! She guided us to the must see places in Seoul and explained the history behind the places. She adjusted the tour based on our interest. We were particularly interested in finding quality ginseng and she helped us find the best stuff.

Tour de Seoul w Sophia - Sophia was wonderful and wasn’t just a guide but treated our time as friends reconnecting while we explored Seoul. History, art, local shops, and excellent dining experiences are something I won’t ever forget and Sophia facilitated it excellently. She was extremely knowledgeable and open to fun and serious conversations. I would gladly have Sophia show me the other parts of Seoul next time I visit.

A thoughtful & lovely family experience - Sophia was an excellent guide who knew the history, tips and tricks. We had a cloudy / rainy day and she had umbrellas, water and picked a delicious lunch spot. She also was a certified tour guide and has lots of knowledge and history so we had our own private history lesson everywhere we went. Our kids, ages 2 and 4, loved Sophia and took a liking to her also. She also took lots of photos of us, nearly 70 (!) and WhatsApp them to us at the end of the day. How lovely to have history and our own candid photos for memories.

Amazing Seoul Tour that Includes all the Main Spots! - Amazing tour! Our tour guide was Jake. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Through out our tour was able to provide history behind the sites we were seeing and answered all of our questions. We were picked up in our hotel lobby and went straight to Bukchon Hanok village. We arrived right when the area opened and were able to get amazing pictures without any one in the frame! Next, Jake took us on a drive around Gyeongbokgung palace and the blue house. Both were closed on Tuesday. We went to the Changdeokgung palace instead. It’s a UNESCO world heritage site and it was easy to see why. The architecture and the building detail was beautiful. After we went to the Jogyesa temple which is a working buddist temple. A short walk away was Insadong. There were several small shops and tea houses. We were getting hungry at this point and Jake suggested we try Maple tree Story. It’s a Korean BBQ that serves the famous Jeju black pork. It was fantastic and I can see why the Jeju black pork is so popular. Highly recommend to add this to your trip whether through this tour or on your own free time. We went to the Gwangjang market. It is a covered market that has multiple alleys full of shops. The main alley serves traditional Korean food while other alleys were full of textiles and clothing. The food looked so good that we had to have a bit more to eat. Our last stop was the Namsan tour and we took the cable car to the top. Well almost the top, there were still about 4 sets of stairs to make it to the base of the tower. Within the tower are multiple levels with shops and eateries. From the base of the tower you can see the entirety of Seoul. A truly magnificent view of the city. Our tour ended back at our hotel 6:15pm. A couple of extra items. We went on a day that was very hot and humid. A car with air conditioning was very much appreciated. An added bonus was the opportunity to see other parts of Seoul as we drove from site to site. Jake even talked about each neighborhood we were going through. This tour was everything we wanted and more and a huge Thank you to Jake for making our trip to Seoul so amazing!
