- Gyeongbokgung Palace - Changing of the Guard Ceremony – experience a remarkable Korean tradition
Witness the precisely choreographed ceremony held in front of Gwanghwamun Gate. This tradition dates back to the Joseon Dynasty and was revived for reenactment in 1996. Soldiers, dressed in vibrant blue and red uniforms, elegantly patrol the palace gates to protect the king. The tradition is both graceful and captivating to watch!

Today, the museum houses approximately 45,000 artifacts and royal treasures from the Joseon Dynasty palaces and the Korean Empire. Additionally, 14 of South Korea’s National Treasures can be found here.
