serengeti

Seronera - Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out on an early game drive to wake the animals. Our Unforgettable Safari Adventure - Our safari in Tanzania was absolutely unforgettable, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Estomih. He made our 5-day adventure not just a trip but a real journey into the heart of the wild. The safari itself was a dream come true. We got to see the Big 5 on our very first day! The landscapes were breathtaking. We saw from the dramatic wildebeest river crossing to quiet moments watching zebras and learning how they smartly let wildebeests take the lead to avoid predators. During the safari, we’re able to find different spots for photos and our guide shared fun facts that made every animal encounter special. He was super friendly and funny, making every moment enjoyable. Even when we ran into a small tire issue, Estomih handled it like a pro, and we were back on our adventure in no time. For us, the safari was not only an adventure of seeing animals but also about connecting with the land and its stories. We are also able to know the local culture too, making our trip not just a safari but a deep dive into Tanzania’s heart. We couldn’t have asked for a better adventure!

Great safari experience with very precessional and experienced guide — Estomi - We had a 5-day safari tour, and it exceeded all my expectations. We visited Ngorogoro, Ndutu and central Serengeti. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of incredible. Our guide, Estomi, was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife, making every moment of the journey unforgettable. He told us a lot of interesting stories about animals: the love story of dikdik, the smart zebras when crossing Mara river, and many more. We were fortunate enough to witness the big five, ugly five, and a lot other animals: giraffes, hippos, cheetahs and do many different antelopes. Each day brought new adventures and breathtaking sights. We also see the great migration of wildebeest at Ndutu, southern part of Serengeti. It’s the most breathtaking scene I have ever seen. I really recommend this safari tour for those who are seeking an immersive and unforgettable wildlife experience.

10/10 - Definitely recommend Safari Soles and especially our guide Estomih! He was amazing and answered all our strange questions about the animals (hehe) so knowledgable and we had a total blast with him. He really did his best for us to see the big 5 and the ugly 5 which we did thanks to Estomih. We also really appreciated his patience at every stop so we could get good pictures. Furthermore the entire trip was very well planned, everything from pick-up at the hotel to flying to serengeti. And we had 3 days full of game drives and nice dinners and the beautiful hotels. 10/10 would definitely go again if I got the chance

Magical trip to Serengeti & Ngorongoro with local experts - My husband and I did a 4-day fly-in / fly-out safari from Zanzibar which included 2 nights in Serengeti and 1 night in Ngorongoro for our honeymoon. This was our first time in Africa and it was our first safari experience and we could not have asked for a better intro to both! Our guide, Estommy, was deeply knowledgeable and created an incredible experience for us. We so enjoyed spending time with him not only seeing and learning about the animals but also the culture and history of Tanzania. Really cannot say enough positive things about our trip and spending 4 days with Estommy! There are a lot of tour companies you can choose to work with for your safari experience. What we loved about safari soles in particular: - It is a small company locally owned unlike many of the other tour companies that have foreign ownership - The team was incredibly responsive and the logistics of our trip were flawlessly communicated and executed - We were able to craft our own trip and had an experienced guide to ourselves for the whole trip

An amazing private safari tour - Bryson arranged a fantastic safari for our family of four. Starting with an early pick up from our hotel in Zanzibar, through flight to Seronera airstrip, three days in the Serengeti, a day in Ngorongoro and finally drop off at Kilimanjaro for our flight home, everything worked perfectly and exactly on time. Bryson was in contact beforehand and throughout to make sure everything was fine. We stayed at three very different lodges as recommended by Bryson, each great in its own way (Melia Serengeti for sheer opulence and Serena Ngorongoro for spectacular location and view were our favourites). The vehicle was comfortable, well equipped and maintained. However, most credit should go to our guide, Estomih. He had great knowledge and understanding of the environment and fantastic enthusiasm to share this with us to show us the best of the spectacular landscape and animals. But more important than that, Estomih was simply an amazing person: helpful, friendly, considerate and reliable. By some distance, we all agreed this was the most enjoyable four days we had ever spent on holiday as a family. It is not the most important factor but, whilst a safari is never cheap, by booking directly with Safari Soles the cost was less than half what a UK travel agent quoted for the same trip. And it goes directly to a small, Arusha based firm and into the local economy. I genuinely cannot think of anything I would change.

Safari soles - great safari company - My wife and I did a bucket list trip to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in early October of 2023. We booked directly with Safari Soles and could not have been happier, and I cannot recommend them enough. I booked this myself, having contacted several safari companies and settled on Safari Soles due to their excellent communication and price. Thanks Happiness for the great communication!! We booked a private luxury safari for just my wife and I and I would highly recommend the splurge - It was so worth it in my opinion. Safari Soles handled our flights from Zanzibar to the Serengeti and from Arusha to Zanzibar and all the lodge bookings. As this was a trip of a lifetime, we were excited but nervous having booked thru the internet. But, Elias our driver (now known as triple E - Eagle Eyed Elias) picked us up from the Serengeti airstrip and off we went. I'd say within a hour we had seen Leopards, Elephants, Crocs, Hippos, Monkeys, Lions and so much more - amazing!! Elias was awesome and made the trip so much more memorable with his driving and guiding skill - we were able to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with him and got to know him much better. He was able to cater to our wants during the safari. We basically were out all day and into some pretty far off areas of the Serengeti in search of all the animals. We really wanted to see Cheetahs after seeing all but the Rhino's in the Serengeti (rarely seen) and Elias delivered - we say 4 cheetahs and even got to see them hunting - an amazing scene watching there speed after gazelles. We did see rhinos in the Ngorongoro crater. It was an amazing experience and one we will never forget. The lodges were very nice and comfortable with good food - buffet style for breakfast and dinner with packed lunch mostly for eating out in the Serengeti. We had snacks, and sodas and water in the Landrover available to us as well as wine and beer. It was amazing to hear lions roar from your room and night!! The staff at the lodges were very nice and friendly and helpful in walking to/from the main eating area at night - you had to call them as they did not want you walking alone due to possible animals being out. On the Ngorongoro crater lodge, literally right outside our lodge was 10 cape buffalo eating the foliage - so cool. Again, a trip of a lifetime - super big thanks to Elias and Happiness from Safari Soles. Cannot recommend them enough and would for sure book thru them again. Mark

The perfect Safari - Amazing company with such attention to detail. Booking a safari was very confusing but Francisca was so accommodating and calm. I wasn’t sure what to expect and if all my details would be correct on arrival but from the moment we landed on the airstrip we were taken care of by Inocente. We were taken immediately on a game drive and we saw most animals within 3 hours including Elephants, Giraffe, lions, zebra, Hyena and many more smaller species. We didn’t see them from a distance they were up very close to the car. The drive was informative and thrilling. The lunch was delicious and the picnic spot idillic. We were taken to our lodge which was the Serengeti safari lodge. This was very basic. A little too basic for me but a good experience and spectacular views. The people were friendly and the food was delicious. We were only there one night before we moved to the Melia hotel. This was more expensive but worth every penny. Simply amazing hotel, secluded and spectacular. The game drive you could pick the hours you wanted to do and our guide Inocente was such a good spotter we only needed to drive from 8am until 3pm, it was enough we saw everything except Rhino on our trip. I don’t mean one elephant a day either. On the last day I counted near to 100 elephants. It’s a once in a lifetime experience and this company were perfectly organised and extremely efficient. The jeeps were comfortable and spacious with open tops. I actually cried leaving the Serengeti it really did capture my heart. It is so natural and the guides are very respectful of the animals. Heaven on Earth!

Dream Honeymoon with Ernest and Safari Soles - We had an incredible time with Safari Soles and our guide Ernest made it amazing! We visited Sergentti and Ngorongoro crater and saw many different types of wildlife as a stop on our round-the-world honeymoon. Ernest expertly navigated both parks and was a leader among all Safari guides in the parks for spotting animals. With Ernest we saw all of the Big 5 (a treasure that we learned many other travelers did not see), several hunts, and hundreds more different types of wildlife. His photography skills were a delightful addition to the experience and he was kind in answering all of our questions about animals, life in Tanzania, and how to speak Swahili. Ernest and Safari Soles helped make our dream honeymoon Safari a reality, and we are grateful for the experience with them. We will most certainly be back, and we want Ernest!

Exceptional experience - We had an unforgettable exciting tour with Safari Sole. We are luck to have Simon as our guid. He is very professional and very knowledgeable about wildlife. Simon worked very hard to make sure we see as much as possible. Simon knows how to communicate with elephants. The food and lodges provided by Safari sole are superb。We also really enjoyed the trip to the coffee farm. Through the tours we not only enjoyed to see the animals but also enjoyed communicating with local people and local foods.

A special safari tour - We did a 4 day Serengeti from the air tour with Safari Soles. We had the 4x4 to ourselves. We were well looked after by our guide and driver Raymond. He was knowledgeable, drove well, spoke well and had a good sense of humour. The 4x4 was clean and comfortable. Important when you are spending 4 days in it. All the logistics, flights, transfers and accommodation worked seamlessly. All the accommodation was clean and well looked after. It's important to note that in Serengeti you shouldn't luxury westernised hotels. Lodges and camps are exactly that. The staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. The food is freshly prepared but simple. Don't expect loads of options. We stayed at Serengeti Lodge, Sero tented camp and Rhino Lodge. Great and different experiences. We were lucky to see the big 5. You need luck but it helps if your guide is knowledgeable as ours was. The serengeti is vast, the ngonrongoro crater is amazing. We had a great time.
