Set out on this coastal exploration and discover the finest sights in the NorthWest of Madeira from an open-roofed 4x4 vehicle. We’ll journey through the Western regions of Madeira, traversing through deep valleys, and elevating up to an impressive 1500 meters. On this tour, you will enrich your knowledge about the views, indigenous forests, fauna, and flora. We will also introduce you to Madeira’s water channels known as ‘levadas’ and offer insights into their significance.
Please ensure you’re wearing appropriate footwear as we may embark on a 15-minute walk to understand more about Madeira’s ‘levadas’. We’ll navigate through the Madeira plateau - a unique flat land within this island terrain, and subsequently, head to Porto Moniz to explore the volcanic lava pools. Should the weather cooperate, you’ll have the opportunity to take a dip in these unique volcanic pools. Lunch can be availed optionally at an expense of €12.00 per person. This includes a three-course meal, paired with a beverage, and followed by coffee. As we journey back, you’ll be treated to strikingly beautiful vistas of cliffs and waterfalls. We’ll even take a pause for you to taste our distinguished ‘nectar’ poncha, a traditional local drink.
