The Gambia Experience at its best - Jimmy is passionate about his job. He’s not a guide, he’s a friend since moment one and he tells you all the story that your curiosity about The Gambia can have. I did with him a couple of excursions, the Makasutu cultural forest and the Banjul city tour. I strongly recommend his services to all people traveling to the Gambia (which is amazing)

Great experience - We (my friend and I) had a great time on this excursion - the drive there and back was smooth (disregarding the sand piste on the last couple of kilometres or so), once there we met our guide and set off to the forest and water. We couldn't get on a boat immediately but Buba and our guide Lamin changed the order around so we went on the forest walk first and came back to go on the boat ride through the mangroves. The tour was very informative, we learned many new things, and it was very peaceful. Buba made us laugh a lot too and we felt very welcome and at ease. Side note - you will need to pay the entrance fee (1500 dalasi) separately once at the forest.

Jimmy made our entire stay in Gambia! - Jimmy helped us tremendously throughout the stay in the Gambia-he picked us up from the airport, took for a tour to Makasutu, Crocodile farm and museum next day, provided the transport to city center, museum and ferry for border crossing to Senegal. Thanks to him we made the most of our short stay in the Gambia. The trip to Makasutu was the highlight of the Gambian adventure-it was very private-only three people in total. We were no rushed and had enough time to ask the questions and enjoy the experience. Highly recommending booking with Jimmy!

Amazing day with a great guide!! - We had an amazing day!! With Jimmy as the most friendly guide. He can tell you all about Gambia and the history. We took a lot of beautiful pictures. We asked him if we could visit the crocodile pool as well, and it was no problem at all. We even met his family for lunch, what a warm family!! We recommend booking a tour with Jimmy and you will see the real Gambia.

Nice local experience - This was a really nice experience to learn about the local vegetation and traditions. My guide Buba was very professional and he created a memorable experience. I booked with him other 2 tours next days that he organised very well , so if you ever come to Gambia he's the man to show you around .

Boring day with people hungry for tips - Of course you are in nature and animals decide for themselves what they do. But we didn't see a monkey, bird or otherwise attractive animal. In addition, people talk ad nauseam about plants and trees and their usefulness in daily life. The park is in serious decline, mainly due to Corona, and the people who work there hardly radiate any zest for life. Boredom from us and boredom from the people who work. Waste of money! The tour operators usually sell this excursion with a visit to a compound and the food was great. However, you will simply be taken to the house of a guide. Everything for the tip…
