• Mercado do Livramento - Opened on July 31, 1876, initiated by the then Mayor of Setúbal, António Rodrigues Manito, the market has undergone several renovations and expansions, with the current structure dating back to 1930. The 5,700 tiles adorning the Market’s walls were added during the 1930 expansion, depicting the city’s agricultural and fishing activities, crafted by José António Jorge Pinto and Pedro Pinto. At the north entrance, two additional panels featuring city scenes by Rosa Rodrigues were added in 1944.
• Serra da Arrábida - Established in 1976, the Arrábida Natural Park spans approximately 10,800 hectares, safeguarding the Mediterranean-type maquis vegetation nurtured by this unique microclimate, similar to regions like Dalmatia. The Serra da Arrábida was formed around 7 million years ago due to the collision of the African and Euro-Asian plates, a process that also led to the creation of the Mediterranean Sea over hundreds of millions of years.
• Leiveira Azulejos - Visitors can observe the creation of tiles using three different techniques from the 15th to the 18th century, all crafted by hand.
• S. Simao Arte Azulejos Decorativos - Here, creativity can flourish as visitors have the opportunity to paint their own tile, applying the skills learned at the previous stop. Best of luck!

• Igreja de São Tiago - Igreja Matriz de Sesimbra - The Church of the Castle dates back to 1165, although it was during the reign of D. Sancho I that the construction of a Romanesque-Gothic church of Santa Maria do Castelo began, befitting the county that was established. In 1165, the Parish of Our Lady of the Castle of Sesimbra was created. The current church, from the early 18th century (1721), has suffered significant damage over the years. In the 20th century, starting in 1955, the church lost parishioners as a new church was built in Corredoura, closer to the population. Consequently, the Church of the Castle began to deteriorate, eventually falling into ruin as the ceiling collapsed.
