Fantastic day - We had a fantastic day with our guide Miguel. He picked us up on time in a nice clean vehicle. Miguel had a wealth of info about Portugal on our way to the National Park. The drive thru the park was amazing. Our stop at the tile factory was so cool. We stopped for lunch at a very quaint and delicious restaurant. Both wine tours were very informative and we enjoyed them so much. Overall Miguel made the day awesome! I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour and could not ask for a better tour guide, we highly recommend this tour! - Tour was much more than expected, no only wine tasting but all the amazing and cultural stops in the area. Miguel was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and made our day much more enjoyable. We stopped at Mercado do Livramento and he knows everyone and all kinds of fish there! He arranged for lunch at Portinho at the Galeao restaurant and the food was great and atmosphere fantastic, right in front of the ocean. We highly recommend this tour and if you can get Miguel as your tutor guide, it will for sure be a plus!

The best day trip this side of Lisbon - An amazing tour! Amazing views and history and wine! All thanks to our guide Miguel, if you have the opportunity to have him as your guide you are in for a treat! The whole experience felt more like a close friend showing us around. Miguel was very knowledgeable on each stop and had many connections with the vendors. The tour was just me and my partner (plus Miguel) but there was no awkward moments or silence only good vibes and lots of laughs. This experience is best for anyone that isn’t sure where to start on their stay in Lisbon, anyone that wants a bit more knowledge on wine, the process of it being made and to see one of the oldest families of wine in Portugal. From the “best sightseeing spot in all of Portugal “ to traditional Portuguese tile making and all the wine you can smell or drink, this is an absolute must of a tour!

Great wine, food, and local flavor - My wife and I had a great day. Our itinerary consisted of the local market (Mercado do Livramento), two wineries (Jose Maria de Fonseca and Quinta de Catralvos), lunch at a local place in Setubal, a boutique tile-making shop, and the Cristo Rei statue. From the prompt pickup at our hotel to dropoff the tour went nearly eight hours. The weather was ideal, a sunny spring day. Our guide was very friendly, shared a lot of knowledge of the local area and Portuguese history, and was able to schedule tours for us even while we were en route. Since it was not the busy season, all of the tours (both wineries and tile shop) were just for the two of us. Fonseca is an old and historic winery, and the tour guide is well-versed in all that history. Catralvos is the opposite, young and experimenting, so it was a very interesting juxtaposition, and many of the wines were outstanding (and inexpensive). We also got to sample some delicious local sheep cheese. We bought several bottles of wine (and would have bought more if we didn't have to fly with them). At the tile shop (a small operation of about a dozen people) we were shown how the iconic Portuguese tiles are made and watched the artists hand-paint them. Lunch in Setubal was at a small local cafe/restaurant down the street from the Fonseca winery. Very authentic and very good. The only hiccup we experienced was in my first attempt to book the tour (via Tripadvisor), weeks in advance from home. The booking was (accidentally?) cancelled and I received a text asking me to book directly. I instead waited until we arrived in Lisbon and booked the tour the afternoon before (again via Tripadvisor), and everything went fine from there.

Wonderful Day in Arribada - Wonderful day to see the Arribada natural reserve area and nearby wine country. Our driver, Nuno did a great job showing us the area and telling us about the history and culture of the area and wineries, along with securing us a wonderful spot for lunch next to the ocean in Portinho da Arrabida.

To market we go! - Never thought going to a market would be such an incredible experience! Rui guided us through the local market where the locals purchased food, fish, flowers snd baked goods! Mixing with the locals and being educated on their lifestyles was informative. On to a hand painted ceramic tile shop where we watched a demonstration of the making of the tiles from scratch to the hand painted process. After purchasing our house number in hand painted tiles we moved on to the first of two wineries with lunch in between. Highly recommend...Rui was a great personable guide and even shared his grandmother's tomato jam recipe!!
