Scenic Helicopter Tours - The Ridge Runner is a definite crowd pleaser! Our Ridge Runner tour is a very exciting flight over the Chilhowee Mountain Range and Bluff Mountain. The flight starts with a birds eye view of downtown Sevierville and the Tennessee Valley. As the flight progresses you will be traveling over the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and the outskirts of Pigeon Forge and Waldens Creek. With excellent views of the Smoky Mountain National Park you round the back side of Bluff Mountain over 6,000 acres of undeveloped land. While flying low over the tree tops you cross over the top of Bluff mountain where views go from 100 feet to 80 miles in the blink of an eye, it truly is a sight to see! As you head back in you will follow the sheer glacier carved rock cliff side of Bluff Mountain and Sugarloaf Mountain before heading over the beautiful rolling foothills back to the Scenic Heliport! This flight is 30 miles and averages 15 minutes.

There is a 2-person minimum to book
Max per-passenger seat weight limit is 300 lbs. Passengers with bodyweights exceeding 300 lbs. can still be accommodated in our Jet or Long Ranger aircraft. An additional fee may apply, payable directly to Scenic Helicopter Tours on the day of the tour.
All passengers must be weighed at check-in per FAA regulations and in the interest of passenger safety. Only the flight crew will have access to passenger weights, and all information will be kept confidential.

Ridge runner smokey mountains - Absolutely.Gorgeous views of bluff mountain And pigeon forge area. We were able to capture some amazing pictures We spent 10 days in the pigeon forage And surrounding area And spent most of our time. at local attractions and amusement parks, and I would consider this the highlight of our trip. In my opinion, money well spent and it will be Our first stop the next time We are in the area. Our pilot, scott, was wonderful very smooth ride, And got us so close to bluff mountain. Boarding assistant's taylor and andrea Made the whole process Of booking and waiting for a flight a breeze.

Birthday flight - Our first helicopter flight for my wife’s 50th birthday The pilot Tyler was very informative, professional, and knew the area well. Jameson the attendant was prompt and attentive and communicated well with the pilot. Must come again.

An experience of a lifetime - What a thrill! Incredible team ensured we have an amazing experience and they didn’t fail. Beautiful view of the mountains! - We had a great trip. They were running on time and check in was smooth for the helicopter ride. We had a couple of apprehensive people in our group, and the staff helped to relieve their anxiety about the flight. The staff checked in with all of us after the flight to ensure that we enjoyed our trip. All of us agreed that we would definitely use the company again if in the area.

Bucket list - Bucket list item for me! First time ever in a helicopter. Adam was a pilot was super friendly, informative, and did a great job! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Staff at location are amazing as well. From the kind lady that helped us pick a tour to the guy taking our pictures.
