Additional Information
This tour is given by a true local with intimate knowledge of the area, its history, and its people. We will be seeing sights from high across a great distance with plenty of time for photos and sightseeing. Your guide will provide full commentary during the tour. We will also be having breakfast at a local area restaurant where the food is prepared using fresh local ingredients (when in season). This meal is a full sit down experience which includes entrée, sides, and a drink of your choice. Tips are not included please tip your server and driver for excellent service. Child tickets must order from the children’s menu. This tour includes 2 hours of driving/sightseeing with stops at a few places and 1 hour of meal time for a total of 3 hours.

Please check in with your tour guide. The tour vehicle will be located at the address listed above parked in front of the restrooms usually about 15 minutes before the tour begins. Look for a white van/bus. (Note, the apple valley address is the correct meeting address, any other address is wrong)

Great overview tour of the Smoky Mountains - Tour guide was very knowledgeable. She was very friendly and accommodating. Great as JD’s stars was very good.

Wonderful Trip - The trip was great a lot of information given about the area. They were very helpful with my mother who uses a walker to get around able to take the trip with me and enjoy the whole experince.

Great tour - The scenery. The views of the mountains were unbelievable. Also the breakfast was great. The tour guide was very good with sharing stories of the area.

Fantastic tour!!! - Great tour! The van was full to capacity, larger people were very uncomfortable. It was hot on the van. The tour was great! The guide Matt was awesome and full of local knowledge. Which made the tour worth more than we paid! Lunch was very tasty!!!

Best tour in Tennessee Mountains hands down! - Favorite part was our knowledgeable guide Matt! We learned so much! Lunch was local and amazing. We had so much fun we booked the Cades Cove tour for the next day! We even got lucky and saw a bear. The mountain views were phenomenal and we learned so much!

Our guide Matt is from... - Our guide Matt is from the area and gave a lot of history along the tour. We stopped for breakfast early in the tour and it was good. There were clouds so when we got to the top of the mountains we were not able to see the mountain range. We enjoy hearing the history of the area in which we travel and we were not disappointed as Matt is very knowledgeable of the area.

A little disappointing, but informative - I was hopoing for more tour but we ended up spending over an hour at the restaurant. We went up the mountain a little way to Elvira's for breakfast and back down to the foothills parkway for a little jaunt. Did learn some history and interesting information as the guide was from there and his family was one of the first to be there..

The tour requires more tour guide dialogue throughout the tour. - Our most memorable part of the trip was the breakfast at Elvira’s restaurant. The personnel we’re friendly and accommodating.
The tour consisted of driving but it was never explained where we were on our journey. The tour guide stated that he would explain when we stopped but the description was still lacking. Personally, we were disappointed. The tour turned out to be a breakfast with a drive through the woods and a few tidbits of information.

Not happy. - Seeing the mountains. The 3 hour tour was not 3 hours. 1 hour at a restaurant and the drive was part of the 3 hours. It only turned out to be 1 hour. Disappointed.
